Like other reviewers we stayed at this hotel as part of a Coronation Street coach tour. Yes we entered the Hotel from the car park but that is where the coach parked. not the hotels fault. The reception had our key and information pack ready for us and was pleasant enough. Our room was on the first floor. A very... More

On arrival you are greeted with the most miserable, sad case of what they obiousley try to call staff/receptionist's you could ever meet. The rooms are so hot you need to sleep in the hallway just to be able to breath. We booked breakfast for two days and only needed one day when we asked for a refund we where... More

We stayed here with National Holidays for 3 nights. Quite horrified on arrival. I have never entered a hotel by the back door before! The hotel is not equiped for the number of clients who have walking aids. Booking in was chaos. Ok it is a bargain break, but there is a limit. This hotel needs to be demolished or... More

Didn't enjoy the overnight stay we had recently. Entrance at the back difficult for a wheelchair to get up slope and into door, too tight an angle to be able to manoeuvre properly. Lifts most definitely impractical, had to get disabled person to stand while I collapsed the chair to get it in the lift. I used both available lifts... More

Had single room in old part, head board not attached to anything, duty manager moved bed tight to wall so it could not hurt me in the night (stayed 2) carpets were stained and grubby, no room for bedside table so floor had to do, bedroom was no more than a corridor and apparently they only use them if there... We stayed here on a coach trip. It did not bode well in that we were not advised of the hotel we would be staying at until we arrived. On arrival we were taken into the hotel from around the back. It made us feel that, being part of a coach party, we were not particularly important to the hotel.... More
