Where to begin. How this place can even call itself a hotel I do not know! We stayed there as part of a coach tour booking and let's just say they will never get my business again after sending me to this filthy hell hole! They are receiving a separate letter of complaint. Firstly it is full of non English... More

I stay in a lot of hotels around the country and this has to be the worst hotel I've stayed in. I say hotel but I think it's more like a halfway house for foreign families, small bar restaurant closed at 7pm (if you are brave enough to venture in! ) the rooms are basic no remote to the TV... More

We were in the Uk just for 3 days , we arrived at the Hotel at 01.00am and we checked out at 09.00am , we should have stayed there 3 nights. The Reception area was dark and dreary and smelt of dogs, we checked in and were given keys for room 277 we went in the oldest lift I have... More

I booked this hotel at the last min on sat to save travelling home after a meal out. The hotel is obviously being used as an inbetween stop gap for people waiting to be rehomed. The misfortune about this situation was that the public areas are packed out with crowds of family's having a break from their rooms. The hotel... More

Firstly, we had stayed at this establishment two times previously due to the proximity of my wife's family whilst visiting . Each time we said we wouldn't return, however for convenience and price, there is little to beat it locally. We booked for one night bed & breakfast. The family room was awful- however, after a long day, and it... More

Visited here as I normally do for a conversation. The hotel is old and looks like it has never had a refurbishment since its opened, though there looks like there have been fixes in places. This make the place look very tired. I am a Coeliac so in the morning I asked what breakfast is gluten free to be told... More

Very low cost hotel. Good points : Low cost. Breakfast is good as long as you avoid the bacon (how do you ruin bacon?) Bad points : Staff don't care (poor service. No enthusiasm whatsoever. Apparently it's an effort to serve food or drinks). Dirty (bins in public spaces overflow in and stinking. Random junk in corridors ranging from rubbish... More

A great hotel for a relaxing 5 day Christmas break. Hotel does need some renovations but all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good and plentiful. Leisure facilities are available. Hotel operates a happy hour on drinks in relaxed surroudings. Not far from Stockport or Manchester town centres. Look forward to returning again.
