Stayed here for one night as part of a Corrie Tour package with a coach tour. Good points: quick and efficient reception upon arrival, envelopes all ready with names/keys so there was no wait, food was excellent - quality and choice, good choice of starters, mains and desserts and all delicious and replenished constantly. Bathroom was clean and shower was... More

Food cold. Limited selection of desserts. Every meal fully self-service, glasses for water very small. Net curtain in bedroom filthy! Bed not made properly duvet just pulled up, pillows not plumped up and bottom sheet not straightened. I stayed here as part of a coach tour but the hotel spoilt what was an otherwise excellent holiday!

The bedroom was outdated, incredibly small and extremely hot! You can adjust the radiator but there is a heated pipe which runs through the room making the temperature unbearable. In desperation we tried opening the tiny window only to be kept awake by people smoking and coughing on the fire escape. The TV in the bedroom was so old as... More

we stayed here at the end of july as part of a overnight airport parking deal, the price was cheap so we went for it. In hindsight i wish id payed that bit more and stayed at a airport based hotel. The room was tiny with 4 beds squashed in together, linen was clean but floor and bathroom dirty. The... More

This hotel is the type that's filled with coach party tours and tradesmen / women working on local sites, not that there's anything wrong with that! Its cheap and therefore expect tiny and very bland rooms, wafer thin covers and stained carpets. The public areas are presentable enough and the staff are friendly. The food is functional at best. They... More

I booked a family room to cheer my children up during summer. They had just lost their grandma unexpectedly, if they weren't depressed before they certainly were when they saw tiny shabby room which had 3 beds squashed in together. You couldn't walk around.you had to climb over eachother! Ends of beds was touching the tv cabinet set at ends... More

This hotel was booked by Just Go holidays as part of the package for their Coronation tour, and only found out the name of the hotel 2 days before departure! on reading the reviews I wasn't looking forward to staying there, but I have to say it is not as bad as other reviews state, and for the cheap price... We actually didn't realise that we were staying at this hotel until the day before we were due to set off. We took a 4 day trip with National Holidays who kept this information under wraps and didn't let anyone know until the holiday had been booked and paid for that we would be staying in Stockport. When we found... More

We have just returned from a two night stay with Just Go Holidays to visit Coronation Street. That was brilliant and well worth visiting. However....... Just Go didn't inform us of the hotel we would be staying in on the paperwork we received just that it was a "well appointed hotel in Stockport". Had we known what this hotel was... More

We recently returned from a coach tour to visit the old Coronation Street studios with Sunrise Direct Coach Holidays. The hotel was not disclosed until joining instructions were received and when it was to late to cancel without losing most of our money. On checking the hotel against Trip Advisor the reports were quite bad and, had we have reviewed... More
