Have used the Church several times with work mates for a drink after work, its a lovely friendly pub serving great beer. I used to stay here years ago and the rooms at that time were very nice and the food and breakfast were of a high standard. If you are looking for a different place to stay or eat... More

I was in the Church Inn a couple of weeks ago when 4 people came and sat on the next table. They had only been there 5 minutes when out came the electric cigarettes - they puffed and blew on them, emitting the most foul smell of a vanillaish nature. Disgusting, much worse than proper cigarettes ever smelled. I'm sure... More

We stay here several times a year and we're typically given the room on the first floor that faces the street. It's easier for us since we're traveling from the states and have multiple large bags. We're treated much like family these days and really enjoy our stays. The room and en-suite bathroom are both very spacious and there's even... More

This is a proper traditional pub run like a proper traditional pub. Great selection of real ales that are well looked after, it's the type of place that even though it's a little out of the way, it's defiantly worth the visit. It's a shame that other failing pub don't take a leaf out of the the church in book

This is local to me. There's a fine selection of beers and a great juke box with thousands of tunes available. The food too is of a good standard- I particularly enjoy going in at lunchtime when friends pop up.We have a bite to eat, a beer or two and listen to some great songs.

I booked a room for my mum and her husband when they visited. I love the pub anyway and they said that the room , service and breakfast were fantastic. Great beer, lovely service and a fantastic stay overall. Well recommended to stay but the pub itself is worth a visit anyway.

Four of us stayed here on a business trip for one night. Excellent accomodation at a very reasonable price. The Landlord, Tom, and the staff were very friendly and approachable. Probably the cheapest Hendricks Gin in the Manchester area...........

Spent a few nights here while visiting family who live in Prestwich. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, but at least they are wide. Our room was large and comfortable with a big bathroom and a large closet. The breakfast was wonderful, the owners and staff friendly and helpful. They even provided us with food on Sunday evening,... More

Needed information about family heritage. Prestridge is my maiden name, and learned it was actually Prestwich. The town of Prestwich was actually started by my ancestors. My husband and I wanted to go into the church, St. Mary's, right next to the Chruch Inn; but because the rector was not present were not allowed to. Tony gave us all the... More
