Booked as a last minute option and was the only hotel with rooms in the area on the day we wanted. It's very easy to get to with easy access from the motorway and was clean and comfortable enough for the one night we stayed. There's an Asda superstore over the road which does a great value breakfast and whilst... More

A clean, quiet and pleasant stay. Staff were very helpful. Just off the M66 with a supermarket, Pub/restaurant and Mcdonalds within walking distance. Had to pay £3 for every 24 hrs for parking and beds are quite firm, which we are not used to. This is the second time we have used this hotel and will be using again as... More

I was almost on the point of abandoning the travelodge chain after a series of awful stays. However, this travelodge inside was clean. The bathroom had no mould . The reception staff were helpful. The only thing which upset me was paying for the parking. I have never paid for a travelodge car park and effectively this made the hotel... More

Recently stayed at this Travelodge, The lady on reception was very welcoming. The one positive our room was very clean, we had booked a family room of which I wasn't aware of when I made the booking, luckily me and my partner do not have children, as a sofa bed could of been introduced to the room as there was... The rooms were clean & complimentary tea & coffee were nice. Massively let down by the beds. It felt like we were sleeping on slabs of rock! It's advertised as refurbished. Go back to the old beds!!!!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly, disabled sister who with a friend stopped at this Travelodge last Saturday evening. My sister travelled a fair distance and arrived 25 mins early but she was not allowed to book in as 3pm is the time rooms are allocated. A little petty and poor service as there are no seats... More

The lady at the desk was extremely courteous, and offered us a fan for our room. The room had been re furbished. The bed was better than others we have occupied in travelodges over the years. Obviously travelodge have made an effort.Wel done.Impressed, the staff were excellent

In a fiercely competitive budget market, it doesn't help when you have to use a buzzer for reception that isn't anywhere as effective as yelling "Hello, is anybody there?" like you're at the Bates Motel, plus dated styling, cramped corridors, a lack of air conditioning that relies on leaving the windows open to try and cool the sauna down. The... More
