Well we have been here for tea tonight. Food was ace ww all loved if so fresh and tasty. Rag pudding amazing steak fab but wow so large and tender and the cheese and onion pie was fresh and very tasty. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks xx

Friday lunch-time & we could not get in to the Pack Horse in Affetside so called in here for lunch as other trip advisor reviews were good & "homemade cheese & onion pie" is my favourite. Been here many times great hosts fantastic food and real ales, decided to hold Dads wake here we had more than 50 people turn up Sue put on a fantastic spread and people are still talking about it, cannot thank her enough.

we were staying close by so called in for a quiet drink and stayed for a meal,. lovely people and excellent food, planned to go back the next day but unfortunately couldnt, would recommend to anyone :) :)

Been a fair number of times over the recent years. Since it changed hands to Sue and Dave, it's improved a great deal and is well worth a visit. Went for sunday lunch, nice little pub which we found on doggiepubs.com , isnt the biggest pub in the world but staff ere nice and food was hot and tasty, would recommend the sunday lunch or the venison sausages
