We had such a great stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean. Free parking and WIFI and an amazing delicious hot breakfast!!!! The two owners were such a fun welcoming couple and nothing seemed too much trouble.. I would give 6/5 if I could

Stayed here in the summer, very friendly, breakfast was always great, no issues whatsoever. Gave me a room last minute when all the other bed and breakfasts were chock o block and it was my first time in town. Made me feel very welcome and if I ever need to stay in a B&B they'll be the first place I... More

We stayed the night for a local party at the Elton Liberal Club. Accommodation was fine and the welcome and friendly owner Russ did a sterling job whilst temporarily running things on his own due to an illness in the family. If you need to be in Bury or perhaps not wanting to stay in Manchester itself then I would... More

We stayed here at the beginning of September celebrating our anniversary and my husbands birthday. Could not have asked for more, made very welcome and looked after all weekend. Beautiful rooms and excellent breakfast. Russell and Helen were very helpful and we all felt very relaxed. Can highly recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst we went on the Lancashire steam railway. This guest hourse is ideally situated for Bury - very cheap taxis into the town centre (and to the steam railway station) or a 15 minute or so stroll for the able bodied. The accommodation is comfortable, the welcome warm and the breakfast very tasty.... More

Thank you for the stay with you both at Your B & B, Room was lovely and warm as it was cold that night. Rooms were clean & Hospitality was very welcoming. Breakfast was enough to keep me going for almost most of the day. I was up on Business. Very good you both enjoyed my stay. Mark@EducateTrainingLtd

My Daughter and I stayed at the Castle while the owners were on holiday so we were looked after by Kay (Helens sister). We were made very welcome and shown to a family room which was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee/chocolate and lovely biscuits. The use of a guest fridge and microwave in the dinning room is a bonus.... More

Stayed here a couple of years ago, and it's a hidden gem. Changed ownership since the last time, but still truly excellent service. When we booked there was only a twin room going, but we accepted it. On arrival, and realised which room we were in they said there had been a cancellation and did we want the double instead....
