The Old Rectory Hotel was the only venue I considered for our wedding because I 'fell in love' with it as soon as I walked up the gravel driveway. I fondly named it 'My Mini Downton Abbey'. The grounds and house are absolutely beautiful and Pam and Mike were so welcoming from the first visit. Our July 2014 wedding day... More

We had the best wedding ever at The Old Rectory Hotel, not just our opinion but many guests volunteered the same. Pam & Mike's friendly professional attention to detail made it a personal and unique occasion. Lovely setting. Attentive efficient and unobtrusive staff. "The Gershwin Gang" added the perfect ambiance for the day with their 1930s music. "Chris Johnson's" R&B... More

Lovely venue for a celebration with a small amount of people of varying age range. Just two points; with main course ,the gravy was already put onto the plated meal, and extra was served if required, perhaps all could have been an "extra" as gravy is not always wanted. Also the white wine really was not cold enough,(in a cooler yes )... More

We recently visited this hotel for a private function , the ambiance was just right. The staff were attentive but unatrusive .The gardens are well tended with quirky touches. If you are looking for an quiet hide away , this is the place. loved the cakes

My wife and I stayed at the Old Rectory last evening having booked it at the last minute on the basis of good Trip Advisor reviews. The website matches the reality. Fascinating period house dating back many centuries which has been added to numerous times producing a fascinating mix of architectural styles both inside and out. We did not eat... More

due to a mix-up (care of Booking.com) we arrived on Bank Holiday Friday thinking we had a room for the weekend only to find it was booked out for wedding. That said, owners Pam and Mike did everything to make our visit special for the one evening they could accommodate us. They were supposed to be resting to prepare for... More

My husband planned a surprise birthday party for me in June. He could not have done it without the support and help of Pam and Mike and Jackie. It was a fabulous occasion. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, music from a professional musician, a warm sunny evening where guests spilled out into the delightful gardens and excellent service and attention... More

This hotel is tucked away in a quite lane, but right on the doorstep of many towns and villages, the hotel was fantastic, the rooms nice, and the staff had a very warm welcome. Parking was good and the breakfast very tasty. Free wifi worked well and it seemed a good spot for conferances etc.

Thankyou both for making Helen and Stans wedding day so perfect in every way. Pam and Mike, you welcomed us all into your beautiful home (simply stunning). Every little detail had been addressed and you was there, but not there, throughout the day. The meal in the drawing room was wonderful and we were able to relax and enjoiy the... More

This characterful hotel is set back from the main roads around Redditch so offers a lovely country feel and a relaxing setting. There's not always someone at reception when you arrive but it's not long before you're looked after and warmly welcomed. My room was a very good sized double with all the usual mod cons and facilities (though surprisingly,... More
