We booked their family room for one night. It was perfect as it had one double bed and a connecting door leading to another room with twin beds. There was plenty of room and we had a TV which delighted my daughters! We decided to go for dinner in bar and it was very fairly priced and all enjoyed their... More

We booked a murder mystery weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. the hotel is big but very well run and very clean. The food was good although because it was a murder mystery weekend it was a set menu and they catered for about 60/70 guests very well indeed.it has a couple of good bars and plenty of lounge... My wife and I stayed here last night (29 August). We arrived at 10.15pm too late for a meal but the receptionist helpfully gave us three phone numbers for food delivery ( Chinese, Indian and pizza). Our room was clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel has lovely grounds and is located in a quiet area.... More

This is a beautiful hotel that is well positioned. It has two good sized meeting rooms that are perfect for weddings. The rooms are of a good size & are comfortable, my only quibble is that the bed was only a double (rather than a king). The food is excellent & the gardens at the rear of the hotel are... More

Stayed here en route to Henley-on-Thames, we were not disappointed & would stay again. Ample car parking space. Staff polite throughout hotel. Stayed in hotel to eat, didn't use restaurant but sat in conservatory bar, food reasonably priced & decent choices. The only downside for me was not having a lift but my case wasn't too heavy so not much... More

Me and a friend booked to stay here as a halfway point on our journey from Manchester to Henley for the 80s Festival. We arrived and booked in with no problems. We originally planned to go out for something to eat but after the receptionist told us about the Conservatory bar we decided to eat there. We had baguettes with... More

We stayed here to break up a journey to Plymouth, we had a travel zoo deal. The check in was easy, room was OK, bathroom really needed a revamp. Dinner was part of the deal and was good, a small issue something was missing from my meal, but the waiter got it from the kitchen, and because of this they... More

Clean comfortable friendly hotel. The food was lovely as were the staff . We just had a short stay but we felt as welcome as we would have if we had booked for longer . There were a few stairs to cope with as we were on the first floor so bare this in mind when booking if stairs are... More
