I haven't been to the Talbot for many years. Having wandered around the area for a walk, went to the Talbot for lunch with a group of friends. All five of us had a great lunch. Their own brewed beers were as good as ever. I would strongly recommend it. More

We stayed here for the weekend with our dog. The staff made us (and our dog) feel very welcome and everything was excellent - the food, the microbrew beer, the service, the room etc. Homemade jams/preserves, biscuits, fruit liqueur nightcap etc. Farmers market 2nd sunday each month.
