Beautiful setting, lots of free parking and very friendly staff. Receptionist drew me a map when I asked if she knew roughly where I would be going. All staff were really lovely and smiley. Room was smart, clean and modern. Bathroom was nice, and reasonable toiletries. Room was a little cool, and the 'spring' duvet was a little too thin... more

We celebrated our wedding at the Ramada Hotel & resort 4/4/09, it was the best decision we made. All of the staff are friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Tim who was our Master of Ceremonies from the hotel was absolutely brilliant - talked to the guests, ensured that we where okay at all times. We didn't have... more

Having just returned from a week end with all our dancing friends, we all really looked forward to this top hotel Ramada, One of our crowd had to have "gluten free diet" the staff had no idea what this diet was, and because food had to be refused because it contained gluten, the waitress pulled a face ! Ice cream... more

Stayed here overnight for our works Christmas do, rather than have to drive 30 miles back home. Had a lovely large double room, with what was probably a king-sized bed (bit of an extravagence for single occupancy). Bathroom was a bit tatty, but otherwise the room was excellent. more

This hotel seems stuck in the 80's. Internal doors have been removed to create larger Rooms, but no soundproofing must have been available in the 1980's as you could hear every door in the hotel slamming shut. I do expect a certain level of noise, but the walls did not seem to dampen any noise at all. Babies crying, people... more

The room was clean & tidy but that is the only good thing I can say. When I got to the room haveing been out walking all day in the cold I found it was cold so turned up the thermostats & assumed it would warm up. First mistake they didn't work. Put on the TV but it kept cutting... more

We booked for a quiet relaxing weekend away. We were more interested in the hotel and leisure facilities than the surrounding area, but this part of the country has some outstanding scenery. The hotel was clean, and the staff made us welcome and were very helpful. The meals were good quality and, although not cheap, were not too expensive either.... more

This was a lovely little hotel off the beaten track but not too far away to enjoy all the facilities in and around Birmingham. The room was lovely, clean well furnished and very comfortable with a huge double bed for one single occupant. The reception staff were great but the restaurant staff were not quite up to it. It took... more

Have just spent two night in this hotel. From initial dealings the staff were so efficient and pleasant. Our room was enormous with a four poster bed and they very kindly made up beds in the adjoining lounge for our children. Breakfast was good and again the staff were most attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back to this... more
