Did not get off to a great start when the room allocated to us hadn't evn been cleaned and laundered. Staff were very apologetic and gave us another room. This room was clean if very basic and in need of an upgrade. We only paid £58.00 for two nights so you do pay for what you get. All food was... More

This is a nice place and convenient place to rest your head while in the area for things like the wild life park, don't expect the ritz as u will be let down, real nice pub at the end of the road, nice place in general

The lodge was tired and in need of a re-fit. Paintwork and carpets are shabby and dirty. The advertised 'little Chef' was closed down and there were only microwave snacks available. Aceptable for a quick night stay and the staff are helpful. Poorly signposted and easy to miss.

Stayed at this travelodge for 2 nights with partner and young child. We arrived about 6pm and were welcomed warmly by the receptionist who explained where our room was, it was on the 1st floor and even asked if our child would be ok going up the stairs which I thought was nice, caring. Room was nice enough cleanish and... More

I was pretty dissapointed with this Travellodge, I arrived at around 21:00, the staff were not very helpful and there is no resturant onsite. It's also in the middle of no where so you'll have to travel if you want to get something to eat. The hotel itself is standard Travellodge stuff, basic but functional. It was reasonable clean but... This has to be the worst travel lodge I have stayed in. The entrance carpet was wet and the whole hotel smelt damp, the rooms are tired and need decorating. Can't believe travel lodge put their name to it

Unfortunately, the Little Chef that used to front this Travelodge, on the main road, has closed down and has been boarded up. This abandoned restaurant and caravan sales site next to the Travelodge do not make it look very appealing. It is an older Travelodge and could now do with a bit of a spruce up. It is still in the... Arrived late afternoon and were greeted with a big smile. I had booked on line and paid in advance. We were quickly dealt with , given all the details for breakfast and snacks available. The room was clean. The linen was crisp and fresh. The paintwork and the bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade, but overall I... More

The room was poorly cleaned and smelled smoky. We requested a spare pillow, as there was only one pillow per person provided, but were told that as the hotel was full there were no spare pillows. We had the same experience of towel rails as your previous reviewer. To cap it all, after our arrival home, we received a letter... More

The room was clean, staff were friendly. The folks at the little chef are friendly and accomodating too. Served as a good base to visit family in the Worcestershire area. Good for getting to the Severn Valley Railway - must have a car there though.
