We called in on the off chance and really chuffed with the decisionto do so . It is a nice warmly decorated place with really friendly staff and a really well priced varied menu as well as a fixed price 2 /3 courses menu . Don't forget the specials board over the fireplace had some nice fish courses on today... More

We had 2 meals in August and will use when next in area. First ordered a light meal but was disappointed with poor LasagnaExcess pasta and dry. Second night we had Trio of Lamb, and Belly o Pork. Both were exceptioal. The staff were friendly but servicesw was terribly slow on busy night. Problem was23 people booked between 7.15 and... More

It was a Sunday afternoon and we ended up at The Flyford Arms by chance after a disappointing visit to a different establishment just down the road (The Red Hart). We were desperate for a Sunday roast and had been shocked by the place down the road that had their signage out advertising meals yet failed to inform customers that... More

We had good food but a few things let it down. The first was the slow service, getting the main meal was slow, but the desert took forever to come. It's a shame as the food is exceptional value, I guess if you've got a heap of time that wouldn't matter. I found the portions overly generous for the price.... More

We had a Birthday Party for one of the Granddaughters here and it was a nice atmosphere and food was fine but smallish portions. Weather was good so time was spent in the garden between courses. Pleasant afternoon and evening.

It's a shame because this place is renowned for serving up amazing food dishes so my disappointment when I was shown to my room was pretty apparent, why they can't invest money into the hotel is beyond me, really let themselves down.

Have visited the Flyford on a couple of occasions now, I live in the next village. This really is a lovely place for a nice relaxed dinner with family or friends. The food is perfect and faultless; the stroganoff is to die for and nice to have the option of half rice and chips for a change! The staff are... More

We pass this pub quite a lot and haven't popped in for ages, so thought we would give lunch a try. Fabulous value at lunch (I think until 5.30pm), 2 courses plus a pint of beer and slimline tonic came to £28.80 for 2 of us. Generous portions and good quality food. Staff very friendly and professional. Toilets clean and... More

After reading great reviews, I thought our meal would be lovely. Every course was a let down, they can't even melt cheese properly on garlic bread. The decor was like being sat in someone's lounge, not my cup of tea!!!
