Arrived about 1900 and managed to park at the hotel, welcome was good at reception Room was at the ront of the hotel and was noisy come 0700 am. I would suggest a room at the back but who knows Rooms were fairly small as it is an old hotel but at the price good value. Foos and drink were... More

Stayed for 2 nights - lovely town, pleasant staff, food and beer good too. But, whatever you do, get a room at the back of the hotel, not fronting on to the main street. We had Room 302, the worst! Fifty stairs up to very top, - noise? You are level with church clock opposite which chimes every 15mins 24/7,... More

Never again. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again if you paid me. It must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To be fair, the staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The room (209) was very small but very clean and made up perfectly every day. Unfortunately the décor was black and brown paper which was... More

We've stayed in a few Wetherspoons hotels as a similarly priced alternative to Premier Inn, but a bit more characterful and quirky, with comparable in-room amentities. This one, set in the beautiful little town of Bewdley, is in a very old building with narrow stair cases, low ceilings, creak floorboards and doors of all shapes and sizes, so just a... More

Stayed two nights in this hotel and it was excellent value. Very quirky in that, being an old building, the floors are uneven and all the doors of different sizes. For example, the door to my room was slightly shorter than me so I had to stoop to get in but the door to the next room was only five... More

On arrival I found the receptionist rather unfriendly, although she try to act friendly she was on "automatic". Finally got to my single room which was small & hot without the ability to open a window. I found a fan in the wardrobe. The evening meal was ok but not that great. After a sleep that had the fan running... More
