My husband and i have just travelled back home from spending a night here with our 8 month old son. The owner Alan and the lady host are lovely and very welcoming. Accomodated our son well having provided us with a travel cot and highchair booster. Breakfast between 8.30-9.30 was lovely and good it wasnt too early like some are,... More

I needed a clean, warm, comfortable single room with usual en-suite facilities for a weekend, and got it. The Full English Breakfast was excellent. Full marks and many thanks to Alan and his team for a warm, friendly, helpful reception. It was a pleasure to stay with you, and I hope to return on a future visit to the NW... More

After reading reviews i thougjt this place was going to be spectacular but boy was i wrong. The owners were both very very rude, as a paying guest surely they should of offered to carry my bags up. It was like they wanted my money and that was it. The rooms had dust everywhere, hair in the sink, dirty linen... More

I wish to point out that this reviewer has not stayed at Dunsandles guest house. I am certain that they have watched the recent repeat of the 4 in a bed series on channel 4 and decided to write this totally fictitious report. If you take the time to look at the other reviews you will see that we have... More

A lovely boutique B+B - welcoming, clean and comfortable. Rooms individually and artistically decorated. Excellent transport links around Wirral and Liverpool. Would definitely return. Excellent value.

Lovely stay at dunsandles. We received a genuinely warm welcome and introduced to a charming bright and airy room, which was lovely and clean. Our breakfast the next morning was tasty and well cooked and the breakfast room itself was really fresh and inviting. Dunsandles is perfectly located for all new Brighton has to offer, and provided us with a... More

Was visiting family near bye, the hotel was in an excellent location, with a beautiful room. The bed was heaven. Big thank you to Alan and Helen for making us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again x

We decided on a last minute break to visit art Liverpool Art galleries - but wanted to stay out of town. Really appreciated closeness to sea and good selection of eating places. Alan made us very welcome and gave good advice re: places to eat and visit. Breakfast very good - enjoyed chat. An ideal relaxing place to stay. Thank... More

Stayed here for one night arrived late so didn't explore the area too much but the B and B was lovely. Generous tea and coffee facilities with more out on the landing if needed. Very comfortable bed, good choice of TV programmes. Felt very very safe and secure as a single female in an area I was unfamiliar with. Owners... More

My mum lives in New Brighton and her apartment block does not allow dogs! So when we come to visit her we stay with Alan. We have a small dog called Pugwash and both he and ourselves could not be made more welcome - Pugwash evens gets his own sausage at breakfast! New Brighton has been reborn and Dunsandles is... More

I decided that I wanted a nice little break from everything, so I thought I would go for a weekend to New Brighton where I grew up. I then started to think about where I would stay and the Travel lodge did not appeal to me but then eventually found Dunsandles. I read through the reviews and was imenclely impressed... More
