A lovely hotel for an overnight stay. Booked the executive bedroom which was lovely and comfy with a gorgeous en-suite. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent - compliments to the chef and all the staff were very helpful and efficient. I would certainly stay at this hotel again more

What a lovely hotel. The food was wonderful with a good choice and reasonably priced. The en-suite room was spacious and well-equipped - I especially liked the tea/coffee facilities. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the attitude and friendliness of the staff. I have stayed in hotels (good and bad) throughout most of the world and this compares... more

We booked a family room for two nights with the purpose of visiting relatives nearby. Wish we'd read the reviews first, as we might have been forewarned! The main part of the hotel is a pretty enough Grade II country house but most of the accomodation is in modern blocks throughout the grounds. Our room was at the back, behind... more

We were attending a family Christening in Wootton Bassett with the reception being held at Marsh Farm Hotel. After reading the reports on this hotel we were quite wary so I booked executive and superior rooms to be on the safe side. Our room was large, clean and bright with a sofa and looked over the front lawn. The superior... more

Having recently been fortunate enough to enjoy lunch on a Thursday in July at the Marsh Farm Hotel I would like to share the experience with you all. Firstly, I had some preconceptions with regards to what to respect having checked TripAdvisor before leaving and also having used Google to search for 'good' places to eat in the Swindon area.... more

On Tuesday 27th May we stayed at this hotel after selecting it from the appealing description on the hotel website. Unfortunately what we got, at Room 14, was not appealing in any shape or form. What we expected was a proper hotel room as depicted on the website, not a poor adaptation of a hay loft. The hay loft is... more

Stayed here to attend a Wedding. Poor food, 'canned' Wedding package and little customer service and flexibility. After a long weekend celebrating a family wedding, breakfast closes at 9.30am and they insist on checkout at 10.30am - this spoilt the weekend - a more relaxed approach, chilling with everyone else would have probably had us staying for coffee and maybe... more

7 School "Old Boys" plus partners had a superb 3 day reunion at Marsh Farm. The stay was made very special due to the attentivness of a young and very energetic staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is well appointed and stands in well maintained grounds. The rooms have been refurbished to a very good standard.. They have... more
