I stayed here for 6 nights at the end of November/early December so the weather outside was a bit chilly but the room was bright and cozy. As described by other guests, the menagerie is quite varied but unique. The friendly chicken not only tried to get in the room but in the car so I had to be extra... More

Stayed for one night for a visit to longleat safari park. A fab b&b, room was very clean and comfortable. Jackie is a lovely lady and made us very welcome. The animals absolutely made our little boys stay here, he didn't want to leave to go to the safari park and now wants a chicken! A really good choice for... More

Arrived for a 2 night stay ,slightly worried as Melksham is a small town but this B&B is 1/2 mile outside.Room was large compared to other places we have stayed and was very comfortable.bed was firm (way we like it) and very clean. There are animals on the farm too many to mention ,except for the cheeky chicken who will try... We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding in Melksham. Jackie was kind enough to actually offer us a lift to the church. She is a lovely person and will make you very welcome into her home. She has a passion for animals and there are some adorable sheep/pig/goat/goose and chickens in the garden! The room we... More

Lovely room and great service, we felt really at home and very welcome. The little petting farm was a added bonus for the children, they didn't want to leave and are constantly nagging for a chicken ☺️ X

I've stayed here twice now while on a course in the area, it's a lovely B&B, room was clean and comfortable and Jackie is a friendly welcoming host. Breakfasts were delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Great location being only a short distance to the centre of Melksham, but quiet and peaceful with sheep, goats and geese in the garden... We have just returned from staying at Antonia House. Our children were very excited about visiting Longleat and this B&B is where we chose to stay for the weekend having read Antonia House's wonderful reviews. We had a long journey, nearly 7 hours, and the children were desperate to stretch their legs. Having previously stayed in hotels I was aware... More

Our second visit just confirmed how comfortable and hopitable this charming B&B is. Spotless, well equipped, comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms. A tranquil rural location, friendly and helpful hosts and an excellent breakfast - great value, what else to wish for!

Our second stay at this B & B, and out first review. A delightful location quiet and rural. Outlook from rooms is terrific, grumpy goat, geese, ducks, a baby hen and a pig. Lovely garden to sit and read the papers in. Very warm and friendly hosts and very positive attitude. Very flexible in times, and food requirements. We will return... More
