Brown's Farm was great value for money and perfect for an overnight stay close to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was easy to find and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and airy and the bed was very comfortable! Even though it is close to the road the farm is peaceful and looks out over the... More

We have stayed here several times as part of a larger group attending an event in the area. The level of flexibility and understanding as to the challenges of organising large groups are fantastic with the owners always being extremely accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we always enjoy the breakfast. Always our first choice when in the... More

Could live there. Not much of an outlook but everything you could want present and working. Helpful owners. All good. Oh for heaven's sake tripadvisor need more words (even though they're not offering to pay for them of course). Now up to 200+ perhaps I can get on with my life.

We stayed in Cherry Lodge for 3 nights over the August Bank Holiday. The lodge itself was superb, it was big, comfortable and well equipped. Although it is at the front of the farm it has ground around the cabin which out dog loved, and we were welcome to walk through the farm and exercise her on their land. The... More

Hazel and Mark have a phenominal place!! They were most gracious on arrival and it only got better as our one night stop went on. Got to tour their land with Mark, see lots of wildlife, sit with them later in the sitting room. The room for our family was very nice, wifi worked fine, breakfast was excellent! Playing with... I stayed in the Walnut cottage at Brown farm. The staff where very freindly and helpful the cottage was clean. It did lack though with some facilties like a clock in the room and no Wifi in the cottages which would have been nice. Even though it was clean it did feel a little run down. But overall it was... At the end of a long day's touring we were looking forward to a warm welcome and to relax and wind down. On arrival we found nobody there, On the door was a note saying that Brown's Farm is a working farm and they could be in the paddocks. A mobile phone number was provided to contact. As we did... Stayed here while walking the Ridgeway National Trail. Hazel was the perfect host. Took us to the start of the Ridgeway in the morning and let us park our car at her farm (free of charge) while we were walking the whole week. Lovely and welcoming, friendly and an excellent breakfast. Made us and the dog welcome and she was... More
