Whatley Manor is a beautiful and elegant property with the most professional and courteous staff I have come across. More like a home than a hotel, Whatley Manor certainly deserves its 5 star rating. The spa is equally beautiful and the treatments are excellent. more

This hotel is one of the finest hotels that we have stayed in and thats all over the world.The restaurants are not pricey at all and the breakfast is a must .We plan to go there again soon. Absolutely disgusted with this place. My wife was taken ill and had to stay in hospital, so we phoned to cancel. As it was 6 days before her stay, and their 'policy' is 7 day cancellation, they refused to refund a deposit, and then charged her full rate (£670). Worse, they would not allow us to re-book for another time.... more

We wanted a New Year treat and I looked at Michelin starred restaurants with accomodation. I had no idea this place existed and I got married at Calcot Manor not 5 miles away. One of the nicest hotel spas in the UK - nice VIP suite and La Prairie treatments. Hotel is modern without the usual period decor but the suites are fine. The restaurant felt a little old fashioned and stark but things may have changed since I went there. more
