We have just visited Moonrakers Devizes, and had a really great time. James the Manager greeted us, sat us down at our table and proceeded to give fab service along with really lovely staff. The food was excellent and great value for money. We have heard reports of a poor opening. Give them a break! They were expected to serve 100... More

Remember this hotel/bar/restaurant before it was refurbished. What a transformation! The bar and restaurant are fresh and modern with a nice ambiance with a fantastic al fresco eating area. However the food leaves a lot to be desired. Unless you have a steak the portions of food served are half of what you would expect. In fact it was appalling... More

Came here with my wife and brother and his mrs. Eating out is very awkward for us because my wife is gluten free and they have an excellent menu with lots of choice for 'gluten free' people. The landlord is a good bloke and the whole eating experience was exceptional....well worth a visit and will definately return when we come... More

Sat in the Moonrakers now 2 adults and a 6 and 4 year old. What a delight to find a true child friendly pub in devizes! Not the 'we will tolerate as long as their bottom doesnt leave their seat for 2 hours!'Current landlord has completely turned this place around from the stigma attached to here several years back! The... More

Had not been to this pub for quite a few years, although only up the road from me. It has changed hands since about 3.5 years ago I think? Just popped in today for lunch with some friends. The food was great, REAL home cooked food which you wait a little longer for, but is worth the wait. Wish I... More

We stayed and dined at The Moonrakers in Devizes on our cycling trip down National Cycle Route 4. Words fail us, it was great. Real value for money. The pub has a fascinating history, the hosts (Russell and Lyn) could not have been more welcoming or informative, the room was delightful (see photo) and the bathroom adequate. Great food. A... More

We struggled to find a suitable family-friendly pub for our say in Devizes but got lucky at the first one we chose. The food was excellent with fresh vegetables served and a great choice of menu. The beer was excellent too!
