We booked the pink room last weekend for 2 nights, to enable us to visit a local attraction. The bed was very comfortable and the welcome from the hostess was warm and hospitable. The gardens surrounding the property were beautiful and it was very peaceful and quiet.

I have been meaning to leave a review since our stay in April to thank Caron for the fantastic weekend we had. We were a group of 18 people for a hen do (girls and boys) and booked two B&B rooms and the three cottages for two nights. I couldn't have been more pleased with this find - from the... More

I love to welcome Hen Parties here as The Three Cottages sleeping 16 are so feminine and the girls all really appreciate the small details that I love to provide to make the event really special. I am delighted that you chose Fosse Farmhouse for your very special weekend! Thank you so much! Caron More

My family (couple + 2 teens) enjoyed our stay with Caron. We all piled into one room, which made it more affordable for us, and the bathroom was nice and big. Both of our kids took hot baths in the very deep tub and found it very relaxing and clean. There is a nice 20 minute or so walk across... More

The family room is one of our most popular as it can sleep two adults and two children in a double bed and two single beds. The Pine room (the family room) has a huge bathroom which is really important ! Thank you so much for review and if you are ever in the area again please do drop by... More

Fosse farmhouse was a fantastic discovery for our Easter break. We loved the setting, the cream teas and the breakfast! Also a special thank you to Caron for her enthusiastic participation in the little film we made for our son's school project on the Romans and the Fosse way. Hope to return soon.

Easter is an amazing time to visit Wiltshire - and I was delighted to help you with your film making for your your son's school concerning the Romans and The Fosse Way. Fosse Farmhouse was originally named Lugbury Farm after the Roman burial ground which is located adjacent to the farmhouse. There is Lugbury Long Barrow in the next field... More

Our party left with mixed feelings about the Fosse Farm cottages. While the bedroom were comfy and room, the kitchen well equipped and the location peaceful and beautiful, our weekend was marred by the owner's manner. While she was occasionally hospitable as you'd hope, showing us around on arrival and offering to make up the sofa beds, she was also... More

As an owner I take such pride in being so welcoming to guests however this particular group of ladies was the exception. As requested on booking we provide the number of bed spaces required for their event in this case a Hen Party for which we can accommodate for up to 16. As only 14 guests were confirmed we provided bed... More

I am over the moon that we stayed at fosse farmhouse, booked via the visit bath website. Our initial weekend was intentionally a weekend in bath but were looking for an affordable rate for a family of 4 in a nice hotel (as we found the hotels in bath to be overtly expensive and lacking personality). Fosse farmhouse more than... More

I stayed here with my wife and daughter for a night in a double room with en-suite shower. The farmhouse is a quaint traditional building, in a nice secluded location and the owner friendly and helpful. The room itself was a reasonable size, tending to homely rather than luxurious, and the shower room was very small and dated, with a... More

Thank you so much for your review. I need to know the experience of all guests and I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. The Standard rooms are smaller than the superior rooms and only have a shower - not a bath. The price does reflect that however. If you would like to return then... More

This old farmhouse and associated buildings are located on a quiet road a few miles from Castle Coombe. While the website does not misrepresent the services on offer it is somewhat selective in the views and omissions (note my bath photo). We booked 2 rooms B&B in the farmhouse one of which had an extra bed for our daughter. All... More
