The quaint village is unbelievably historic but the inside of the inn and the quality of the customer service and staff. The room was fantastic and the breakfast in the morning premium. It was all at a very reasonable price too.

I have stayed at the the Castle Inn on a number of occasions, the hotel is simply stunning, located in a simply stunning village. Parking can be a pain, but I am advised that you can use the overflow parking in the castle estate (not sure if that is accurate, best to check when making a booking). On previous occasions... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times, prior to playing golf the following day at the magnificent local golf course. Most of the rooms are very nice but this time I had a very small single room which was nevertheless fine for a one night stay. My two friends had Fish & Chips and I had the homemade curry... More

Stayed for two nights at The Castle Inn. This is a quaint old hotel in the centre of historic and beautiful Castle Combe. There is very little traffic passing through the village and as such the location is very peaceful. The staff on Reception, in the bar and in the dining room are excellent and extremely pleasant. Nothing was too... More

This little Inn and Tavern was just what we needed in the middle of our trip...relaxation! The village itself was gorgeous and very serene except for a bus tour from Japan. The inn was very authentic with the very narrow halls and slanted floors. It was kind of like a maze to get to our room but once there it... More

The village of Castle Combe is unbelievably beautiful and the Castle Inn sits very well in it on a corner. We went on a Groupon, so the cost was very reasonable. Our room was up in the roof, tall people beware, there is a lot of ducking but this is expected in such an old building. The room was very... More

Picutoresce village. Bit touristy. Lots of twitching curtains. A number of residents evidently don't like the steady stream of visitors which begs the question as why they bought here. we were on a pub walk and just stopped for a drink. Nice setting sitting in the sun. Work in London so if I'm shocked by the price of drink something... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate that the price of the Magners Pear was a shock to you and we discussed this with you at the time. Unfortunately this 500ml bottle (pint size) range is the more expensive option especially over our draught cider at £4.00 or even our premium lager at £4.60. The cost on the... More

To get to this very popular hotel you have to leave your car in the car park and walk down the hill for about 10 minutes - ok going down but not getting back up the hill, but it's well worth it. With a small bar area and seating area it can get very full. Prices here reflect the area.... More
