We were a family party of 5 and had booked in advance, which was good because the restaurant was busy. Good, swift service and a reasonable menu choice. We all choose Sunday roasts and food was of good quality, hot and with generous portion sizes. Puddings were very good. A good restaurant in a busy tourist village. Would recommend.

Lovely meal , tables laid up beautifully, and menu variations didn't seem to be a problem.food very hot ,well presented ,and good value for money.Deserts are homemade and looked delicious ,so save a space to try one! Parking is not good,if you end up in car park at top of hill it is quite a walk ,and no street lights !

Have been coming to the Cotswolds for many years although this was our first visit to the enchanting village of Castle Combe. We stayed three nights at the Castle Inn hotel which was such a delight from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The food, the service, the ambiance were just perfect and so in keeping with... More

We didn't stay here but came for dinner one night and then back for coffee the next day as the Inn has the best location. Lovely meal with attentive service in a very comfortable setting. Looking forward to coming back to this charming village.

Castle Combe is a lovely, well-preserved Cotswold village, but very small (2 blocks long?) and can be filled with tourists. The only game in town, other than the huge Manor House golf hotel on the edge of the village, is the Castle Inn Hotel. It is quaint and decorated to a very high standard. The food is good as is... I was visiting the beautiful Castle Combe for a luxury break away from the city. I stayed in the twin room with my mother. Upon arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and carried our bags to our room on the top floor. Having just visited a hotel where I had to lug my bags up four sets of very tight... More

We chose the hotel having decided to make a one-night flit to this famously pretty village to celebrate a joint birthday. Can't praise it highly enough. The building itself is very old and has been beautifully maintained and sensitively adapted. All the staff we met, from the manager to the person who took us to our room to the bar... More

We booked a reservation for a Cream Tea. It was served by a very professional team. The crockery was excellent, the tea was good, and the Scones were scrumptious. The ambience was quality. Very reasonably priced as well.

Visited for two days to celebrate our Mum's 75th birthday. Staff were excellent. From Hakan the manager to Mijai and Alex the waiters, they went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous stay. Beautiful, unpretentious yet luxurious hotel in a stunning village. Wonderful.
