Myself and my partner have just returned from a 3 night stay and had an amazing time. We arrived slightly early but our room was ready and we were shown straight to it. We had room 9 which is up a narrow flight of stairs and is located under the eaves but was a beautifully furnished room with enourmous bed... More

There are some days when touring in England is best conducted sitting inside somewhere cosy looking out. And so it was this windy and cold March Tuesday. We came to Castle Combe, this little movie set of a village, had our look around and opted for afternoon tea at the Castle Inn. Actually we were able to park right out... More

Stayed here in March on a Groupon offer which was very good value as it would be out of our range normally. It’s a bit remote and the Sat Nav got confused as the hills got in the way but we got there in the end and had a very nice room with twin beds and large bathroom with a... More

We just returned from a stay here and were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Our room was up in the attic which was a climb but that made it all the more fun! The breakfasts we're wonderful as was the dinner we enjoyed at the restaurant. We highly recommend a stay in the charming village of castle Combe

We walked in on a weekday to have breakfast. The lady greeted us, looked at the clock (9.25), left for a minute and came back. We were told they weren't serving breakfast anymore even though they finish serving at 9.30. Whilst I can understand some of it, I clearly did not understand the lack of hospitality...but hey...life goes on!

Everything about this hotel is excellent, it is set in one of the most picturesque villages in the country and if you are thinking of visiting you will not be disappointed. We stayed for three nights and were in room three which was a nice size, had a very comfortable four poster bed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast and dinner... More

Just had a 1 night stay at this hotel following a game of golf nearby. This is my 2nd stay, and would recommend it without hesitation. It's in a wonderful village, the hotel itself perfectly blends in with its surroundings, the food was good, and the staff attentive and friendly, give it a go!

The food in this hotel was lovely and the staff also but not a place to go if you have any difficulty walking or climbing stairs. They only have 2 twin rooms in the hotel one of which is up a really steep staircase with a right turn to a room under the eaves. We literally had to crawl up... More

Dear Shirley, Thank for taking the time to notify us of your unsatisfying experience with our rooms. I am happy to hear that you were enjoyed the food and satisfied with the service. The Castle Inn Hotel can trace its origins back to the 12th century and many features of the original construction remain today. Recently the Inn has undergone... More
