There is nowhere better to take a 92 year old Mother for a birthday tea, on a sunny, late Spring afternoon. The entrance to the park and the first glimpse of the Manor was stunning. The drive was lined with bluebells sparkling in the afternoon light so the heart is singing upon arrival! From the young man who offered to park... More

My daughter chose the venue for her wedding based on emotional links & because of its unique charm & historical character. The grounds are magnificent for photos & drinks reception & the event rooms are luxurious & provided a wonderful setting for the main wedding feast & the evening event. The food was excellent , based on a pre tasting experience &... We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary and it delivered everything I hoped for and more. Our room in the Mews cottages (Long Lands) had an infinity bath and four poster bed and we were greeted with cakes and a card to celebrate. The hotel and grounds are the ideal spot for a romantic stay and the food in... More

Wonderful break for our wedding anniversary , beautiful setting and welcoming service, booked Michelin starred restaurant for 7 course tasting menu and were not disappointed. Again service as top level and sommelier great recommending wines. very relaxing shame to make it so short a stay.

Came here recently for a weekend treat. This is a fantastic hotel in a great setting. The service was excellent as you would expect. The Bybrook restaurant in the hotel was also very good. Having said all that it is very expensive but we found it hard to fault.

Each year I try to find somewhere in the world that's extra special for a short break to celebrate Paula's birthday. This year it was two nights at the Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe. We both agree its the best place we've ever stayed. Every element of the service was perfect from the day we dropped in last year... More

I booked this hotel, as I was looking for a dog friendly hotel close to Badminton Horse Trials. We were so surprised when we turned up. Firstly the village has to be the most picturesque in England! The drive through the hotel gates is very impressive and the hotel itself is beautiful.. The staff were so very welcoming and efficient.... More

A great experience - classic English Country House hotel. The most helpful and proactive response to a telephone booking, a delightful Deluxe room in The Cottages annexe - roll-top bath, four-poster bed, and a lovely Tasting Menu. Super grounds to stroll in - plus the opportunity to stroll through picture-postcard Castle Coombe in the morning or evening, avoiding the tourist... More

Just returned from the Manor House Hotel where we had a really tasty afternoon tea - what a wide spread of sandwiches, other savouries and cakes. One option to have with the cheese scones was butter infused with marmite (!) - fantastic, you either love it or hate it. Here you had the option to take the special butter, or... More

Having stayed a couple of years back and really enjoyed it, my wife and I decided to make the Manor House the last night of our whistle-stop tour of the Cotswolds to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. This was a very good idea. We took a room in the 'Mews' (rather than in the main building) - beautifully appointed, good... More
