There are some places you go that just know how to do things properly...and The Manor House in picturesque Castle Coombe is undoubtedly one of them. They have thought of just about everything from the moment you arrive to when you reluctantly leave. Stately house, wonderful setting, manicured grounds, luxury bedrooms full of character, divine food almost too pretty to... More

We've been visiting for the last 5+ years. As cheesy as it sounds, this has to be my favourite place in all the World. Never have I received anything other than exceptional service, devine food and the most relaxing experience. If you can't stay overnight, go for the day: book lunch and a late afternoon tea, take a good book... More

I have been fortunate enough to stay at The Manor House a number of times over the years and the latest visit was the best yet. The hotel is set right in the middle of the picture postcard village of Castle Coombe, and the The Manor House itself is a stunning building. Surrounded by news cottages and impressive gardens you... Stayed in the Hotel in January for one nights dinner bed and breakfast for a works meeting.Stayed in one of the cottages they have on site and was blown away , the setting is stunning the room immaculate and the staff so helpful it was surreal. It was like being on a film set and not in the real world

Stayed in a stone hills deluxe room in the main house for 2 days. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and is a beautiful place to stay. When we arrived new Eve a guy came out and took our cases in for us and parked the car. New Year's Eve was fabulous and met for canapés and champagne... More

Great place - go for breakfast in the restaurant rather than delivered to your room. Breakfast day 1 was great Breakfast day 2 was 20 mins late, cold and only with one set of cutlery Nevertheless - would return

We stayed in the hotel for a pre-Xmas dinner with friends and had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel is amazing, with its corridors and staircases that are impossible to navigate. However, you never get upset when you're lost because the place is so charming. Our room was spacious and really comfortable. Huge bathroom with fab shower. Four poster bed... More

We visited the Manor House hotel for a two night break over New Year. The main hotel building is truly beautiful, as are the surrounding grounds. When checked in we were advised we were actually staying in one of the cottages just down from the hotel. As mentioned in previous posts, check-in was not particularly thorough, we were not informed... More

This is an amazing place. From the moment you arrive, the service is really warm, welcoming and attentive. The accommodation is absolutely stunning and every need is met. The service and food in the Bybrook restaurant was what you would expect from a Michelen star restaurant. We had the taster menu with paired wine, and the food was out of... More

Initially worried that our room wasn't in the hotel. But the cottage we had was great. Had a real fire in the bedroom which we used. The shower was easily the best, most powerful we've ever used. Felt like a hobbit home. Restaurant great, especially breakfast. Nice grounds.
