I, along with family and several friends, have visited Beechfield House several times over the last six months. All occassions were for afternoon tea. Having just returned from a one night stay at Beechfield House, I feel compelled to let others know about this gem of a hotel. Had a 2 night stay with friends. Hotel was pretty much as expected. Set in its own well looked after grounds. Coachhouse rooms new and well furnished but ours was a little on the small side. The modern bathroom was up a flight of 4 stairs and the wardrobe had only half the hanging space due to odd size. OK... more

Standing in it's own grounds, this hotel is stunning inside and out and really lends itself to special occasions and romantic breaks as it's highly photogenic. We booked the Cherry Room for one night after a weeks camping in rainy, cold weather. We were not disappointed! The room was located in the newly refurbished Coachhouse.
