We spent just one night at Fairlawn House, and were very impressed with the service, the rooms, and the breakfast offered next morning. Prompt email detailing how to find the house and where to park. Oh, the Indian restaurant next door has to be the best I've tasted in a long time.. We'll be staying there next time we pass... More

We stayed one night on a longer visit back to the UK. Our main purpose in staying in the area was to visit Stonehenge and move onto Highclere Castle the following day. We arrived around 2pm and checked in by a friendly Tracy who is the co-owner with her husband. We had a large room at the front of the... More

It was great having such a friendly welcome from Keith after a long drive. I chose to stay here as I was visiting Stonehenge at sunrise the following day. Sadly, I had to miss breakfast because of the early start but know for the future that if you tell them in advance they will make you up a breakfast to... More

My wife and myself stayed at Fairlawn on the 5th and 6th of August 2014. It was a short stay necessitated by family business; but what a surprise! We quite often take short mid-week breaks away, but being from West Yorkshire we would not normally travel so far. The proprietors, Keith and Tracey, are a lovely couple and it is... More

Only one night stay but much appreciated and enjoyed. Fairlawn House management was very accommodating and friendly and the service was impeccable. The breakfast was outstanding. Amesbury is ideally located for visiting Stonehenge. That was our purpose, to stop by the mysterious historic site on our way down south. The village is not particularly exciting. It has however the amenities... More

A little belated review as we stayed at Fairlawn in June although I did leave a review on their booking website. The Fairlawn exceeded our expectations! Perfectly situated in the village which has several pubs, post office, various local businesses and very good Indian, Chinese and British restaurants all within walking distance of the Fairlawn. The Fairlawn has it's own... More

This is a b&b in the village. It really should be a hotel with the facility's and services it has but i am sure it is better to be the top b & b than a lower graded hotel. Clean rooms and bathrooms, comfy beds, fab breakfast room in the converted celler( mind your head) and one of the best... More

Great place to stay before or after visiting Stonehenge. Breakfast was great and made to order. Good location for local pubs and shops, parking is provided. We booked a double room and on arrival we were told it was a double for one person and we had to pay a £10 supplement. The room was more than big enough for... More

Really great place. Friendly staff, clean and great breakfast. The breakfast dining area is a really great cellar type room. Cellar doesn't do it justice it's beautifully decorated. Only downside is that they get booked up quickly. A definite recommend.

Fairlawn House is well positioned between Salisbury and Stonehenge. Rooms are modestly decorated and clean. The third floor room had air conditioning because it is warm up in the eves. Other rooms had a fan available. Appears to be the best location of it's type in the area for the price. Free parking available around the corner. Breakfasts excellent. Tracey... More
