We stayed there for two nights and i have to say its the loudest hotel iv ever stayed in. We were room 401 which was above the door and boy does it slam - and you can hear it everytime its opened. You can also hear people talking outside so at night and morning you can hear literally conversations and... More

next to a busy roundabout, included a shell garage and a crappy eater within its boundaries, the bed was actually ok, but the room as a whole was very basic, single harsh ceiling light and was very noisey, despite being very tired I was constantly woken by banging doors and shouting etc from within the hotel plus there was some... I couldn't use the bath as there were remains of an old bath mat and it was severely stained. The flooring was also curling away from the tiles all around the room. The pillows were so hard neither of us could sleep, the bed wasn't comfortable either - I won't be buying one as advertised. When I complained about the... More

This refurbished hotel is in an ideal position for travellers. It is clearly a budget hotel, and rather plain but very pleasant and rooms are quiet with everything you need for a convenient stop. Recommended!

We stayed overnight Saturday. The reception lady was a little awkward as we had two dogs and at first believed we had not booked them in. Then complained we had not paid enough! Not a good start as we pre booked on line. The room smelt damp with a bad smell. Other than that the room was pleasant with no... More
