Stayed here for one night this week and got offered a bigger room for free. However, I had to move rooms due to poor wifi connection. I had the "Beatles Suite" and at first glance looks nice. But on closer inspection the bathroom was covered in mold, ceiling paint all falling off, bath seal was black with mold. The bed... More

Our room was lovely but parking info was wrong and on asking advice at reception no help was given. The breakfast was cold and burnt except for the egg that was under cooked!I most won't be staying here again although the area as a whole was very nice and we'll worth a visit.

Stayed at the Antrobus last night..have stayed quite a few times and have always had a good experience. My room (11) was clean and and had every thing I needed.. After dinner which was superb considering it only cost eleven pound for two courses I met the chef. Bourght him a beer and enjoyed the atmosphere of the Antrobus hotel... More

Booked for two nights but only stayed for one, a once bustling little Hotel turned into a tired dreary characterless unwelcoming shell. With very limited accommodation available in Amesbury it should be easy to stamp a mark on the town with a great place to stay, the building itself has so much potential but nothing is being done to preserve... Our annual family get together lunch was ruined by coming to the Antrobus Arms. Despite booking weeks in advance we waited one and a quarter hours for our meal while they served a coach load first. Unforgivably bad.

And that's just the guests. This is my second time of writing about this hotel, and, for the manager's information, I am a "seasoned traveller", I have stayed twice in this hotel, and on both occasions have had to complain. The first time I was dealt with promptly and with apologies from the manager, however the second time the manager... More

The antrobus arms hotel is a complete shambles. We were given a room with a worn and dirty bed throw which had what appeared to have the remains of someones supper stuck to it. The tv didnt work and the shower (with the bricken tap) was a waste of space. I did complain and we were given the honeymoon suite... More

Thank you for your comments which I find both disappointing and surprising. The hotel is far from being a total shambles, yes we have our bad points but these are far outweighed by the good points as a result of the continuing hard work from all of my staff. The furniture in the bar is a mixture of leather settees... More

If you like a warm tradition hotel atmosphere, and enjoy excellent food, this is the hotel to stay. You may have to forgo the clinical sterility of a modern building but you will none the worse for that. My fishing friend and I have been visiting the Antrobus for some forty years. We have seen many changes and many owners... More

Stayed here while down on a course for work. My room was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable. The food was really tasty and the staff were helpful and friendly. Some areas need to have a fresh coat of paint.

Whilst the downstairs of the hotel looked great and my room was spacious and the bed very comfy I am afraid to say I can not give any further good points. My room was located at the front where all I can say the windows are paper thin and every car passing you could hear including the pumping music blaring... More
