This is a small, family run guest house but was, for my family and myself, an absolute gem. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a fairly spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Tea, coffee facilities are usual in hotels/guest houses, but this one also added biscuits - a really lovely extra touch. We were made to feel... More

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable and the wifi worked well. The hotel is situated in a quiet small village and there is a pub across the road plus some takeaway food shops just two minutes away. Best of all was the breakfast in the morning -... More

We recently stayed here for a friends wedding and really enjoyed it. This is a family run business who are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast 1st class. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights in August to attend a family christening. he only time we spent in the hotel was to sleep but the room was of a good size, comfy bed and it was very clean. Only thing that let it down was the sound of people walking around the corridor and doors closing at 3am, which I guess... More

We stayed here for one night due to a mix up with a hotel we were staying in, the couple running it were very friendly and accommodating. We had all the facilities we needed and more, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with a view across a field which is nicer than some rooms I have stayed in. We... More

I held a business meeting here for 8 delegates in the meeting room. The room was set up to my specifications, tea and coffee was supplied all day, and an absolutely superb buffet lunch was also provided. Even my delegates were commenting on how good the venue was,, how good the food was, and how lovely the Dawson family are.... More

Whilst I have not stayed here overnight, I attended a training session on 13th May 2014. The rooms look well equipped, functional and immaculate. The food was gorgeous and nothing too much trouble for the owners. I would highly recommend both a stay, meeting or training. Thank you x

Four of us stayed at the Geordie Pride as we were attending a local wedding. We were warmly welcomed and were told that if we took our car to the wedding, they would drive us to the location to pick it up the next day. Excellent start. The room was clean and comfortable... lots of milk for tea and coffee... More

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night to go on the ale train. Guest house was very clean, rooms recently refurbished and first class welcome by the owner. We were really made to feel welcome. There is a pub literally across the road and another one the star within a few minute walk. The breakfast was all cooked to order... More
