Stayed Saturday night. Booked with late rooms and got a great price. The whole hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. Breakfast the next morning was very good. The only fault I could find was that the carpet in the room was a little worn but this did not spoil our stay and will define toy stay here again.

Went to booking.com for a recommendation outside the usual sanitised Premier Inn places I normally go to and came up with the Healds Hall. The building itself was full of history and the accommodation despite being a little tired decor wise was acceptable for £50 b&b. What made the visit was the restaurant, unbelievably good and right up there with... More

Me and my new husband got married at healdshall onthe 14th March, i cannot fault anything, our day was so special, chris did absolutely everything to ensure that it was completely stress free and that everything ran smoothly, there were no hicups. The food was amazing we had 83 guests to the day and not one person had anything bad... More

We held a diamond anniversary party lunch for 14 on Sunday 12 Apr. On arrival the staff were welcoming and helpful. We were in separate room to the Restaurant with its own bar. Although we shared the room with another large party, the room was extremely spacious and still felt personable. The décor was modern and the tables laid out... More

We stayed on the Thursday night (2nd April ) as my son was getting married and having the reception there on Good Friday. Five of us had dinner Thursday. The staff were very welcoming and helpful from the start. The meal was excellent. The staff were absolutely brilliant in ensuring that the reception ran smoothly. The meal was served efficiently,... This review focuses on the room rather than the food, which is unquestionably very good. We arrived, efficiently booked in and escorted to our room (no. 4 - ground floor behind reception). The floor area was adequate but the room felt bigger as it had tall ceilings. The rather impressive windows overlooking a lawn were of single glass and had... More

Stayed here recently, and was very impressed. The room we had was comfortable and clean, with a very modern and spacious bathroom. We had a bar snack which was very nice, and freshly prepared. Would recommend the battered haddock sandwich. Staff were very welcoming, and the price of the overnight stay was excellent value for money.

The hotel is lovely, our room was lovely, spotless bed linen, lovely fluffy towels, now for my BUT, I am a wheelchair user and consequently requested a room with w/chair access. The door was too narrow and the bathroom was a standard bathroom. Sink, loo, bath with overhead shower??? It wasn't really w/chair friendly. I had to get out of... More

This was my first stay at Healds Hall and it was a mixture of the very good and the distinctive average. I arrived in the dark so I did not get the full effect of this old Yorkshire hall built in a very traditional style - thought it would suit the Bronte's!. Firstly the room I had (number 2) was... An absolute bargain of a Travelzoo Offer - the food here is absolutely excellent - completely beyond our expectations - 10/10. The detached house/hotel is solid and of classic design, the majority of public spaces very well presented and maintained however the rooms were a let down. Poorly maintained with scratches on dark coloured walls behind bed heads and really... More
