We stayed here for a wedding at Denton hall. Perfectly adequate for a two night stay, large room, slightly dated bathroom. Breakfast wasn't great, poor selection, things had either ran out or sat there too long. Shouldn't have to beg for coffee!

Nice staff and a great location; its a sort of shame really about the rest of it. Very very out of date rooms as is the rest of the hotel. Lupe warm shower this morning rather than a hot one. Looks lovely on the website and with an upgrade would no doubt be amazing. Overall however run into the ground... More

Had the misfortune to stay when there was a wedding reception on. The car park we were directed to is a rough piece of land in front of the hotel. Cars and minibuses for the reception were just abandoned anywhere wasting valuable space. As we had a long journey to get there not best pleased. We pointed it out on... More

This beautiful hotel overlooks Ilkley and although its in need of some tlc its still a beautiful looking hotel. It has the largest ballroom in Yorkshire and can cater for weddings and parties of upto 1000 people. The room we stopped in had been recently refurbished with new bathroom fittings and tastefully decorated, with a fold up sofa bed for... More

My daughters wedding took place here last week. The staff could not have been more helpful. The service was excellent, the food was amazing. The rooms were lovely and clean and very spacious bathrooms made wedding preparations very easy. We were able to come and go as we pleased when preparing the reception room. My husband managed to lose his... More

We stayed here for a wedding, and the everything was very nice. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch thanks to the hotel staff. Neat grounds, free parking, good breakfast buffet, and close to both the moors and the village center.

We stayed here for one night whilst at a wedding close by. We checked in at 11.30 pm via the night porter, a process that took nearly 10 minutes, not exactly fast. (Friends had worse, as the night porter prioritised the bar over check in!!!). Room was big and airy, decor if slightly dated but the bed was great and... More

Both my new wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience of getting married at the craiglands. Easy to find from the centre of ilkey and with both a beautiful garden area and fantastic views. Inside, the building has a charming character, with more than acceptable facilities. Even more importantly, both ourselves and our family and friends were greeted by... More

We stayed at the Craiglands for 1 night after a car rally which started from there. We were welcomed on arrival by friendly staff and after the car rally we sat down for Sunday dinner for 200 people. The food was excellent, freshly cooked, hot and served very quickly and efficiently. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the... More
