Went up to stay just for one night. Check in was quick and simple and the room was clean, large in size and adequate in its facilities, though showing its age. It was cold and wet outside and though the heating was on the curtains shut the heat into the single glazed bay windows and the bathroom had no heating.... More

Second time staying at this hotel and it won't be my last. Nothing is too much trouble for the very pleasant and friendly staff. The food was excellent with very good service and I had a really nice sleep in a comfortable room. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Just came back from a one night stay in Ilkley, nice old hotel, nicely renovated. The room was nice, the bathroom enormous. Two minor things here, a little more space to put things down in the bathroom would be nice, and one side of the bed had no bedside table (because there was no room) but as I said minor... More

As a last minute decision me and my partner booked in at the Craiglands last weekend. We really enjoyed our short stay there. Food was great, staff friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed some nice walks and took in the beautiful scenery. A truly great short break. We look forward to returning and staying a little longer next time.

Very impressive buildings and pleasant gardens. Plenty of car parking. We were greeted by the manager at the reception desk who made us both very welcome. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the entrance. Very spacious bathroom. Clean and crisp, although slightly dated, which fitted in with the building. Only fault was the speaker in the brasserie below... More

Firstly the greeting from the girls on reception was very pleasant but that was pretty much the only pleasant thing that happened. Very dated and damp room which didnt have a phone in which i have never heard of a hotel that big that doesnt have a phone in the rooms. So when we had to go downstairs to ask... More

We really enjoyed our stay at The Craiglands Hotel, the room was very comfortable, the deal we had included dinner, the only thing we considered a little odd was that we were the only people in the restaurant, but the food was excellent and breakfast the next morning was really good, but again only one other person eating, it felt...
