Truly a home from home experience, friendly warm welcome, great little balcony for chilling, comfortable beds, quiet area close to the square, fantastic breakfast, various choices of tea and coffee in the room, even a bottle opener should you need one. Lots of thought has gone into what you might need, literature, DVD's, local information. Thank you very much, my... More

I can only agree with the vast majority of other reviews here. Ron and Maggie are a most welcoming down to earth couple with a wonderful home. You'll be a stone’s throw from wonderful shops selling ceramics, artisan cheeses, used and vintage goodies, to name but a few. Very close to the main square with a host of restaurants and... More

me & my friend had a lovely stay at kersal house, decided to have a girly break, our room was great (the twin room with the little balcony), it would be lovely to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the balcony a little better, maggie & ron were great, maggie asked us as soon as we arrived what we'd... First time we stayed in Hebden and a very comfortable stay. Glad we got the room with the little balcony and a lovely comfy bed, nice teabags too. Owners welcoming and helped us sort out a parking space (filming going on and crew trucks parking all down the st).Maggie recommended the Old Gate for food (along with a coupe of... More

We stayed here for one night whilst at a gig to see the Staves. We were warmly welcomed by Maggie, and shown to our charming room. We were going straight out so Maggie recommended places to eat before the gig and we ordered breakfast for the next day. Our quaint room was well equipped and comfy with all nature of... More

We stayed here for two nights and felt more relaxed than we have done for ages. Our room was cheerful, light and incredibly comfy and the bathroom was great with some lovely shower/bath lotions. Ron's breakfasts were delicious and he managed our mix of meat and non-meat food without a hint of stress! The dining room was chock-full of fascinating... More

My partner and I enjoyed a 1 night stay here in Early July en route to visiting friends in Harrogate. The B&B is a perfect spot from which to explore Hebden and the surrounding dales. The room we had was cosy and comfortable and the owners most hospitable. They are a fascinating couple with an incredible collection of travel photos... More

We stayed for one night only and loved it. Maggie was welcoming and cooks a great breakfast. The room was comfortable and the ensuite bathrrom was fine. The atmosphere was unpretentious and homely. Hundreds of books to read! One minute walk to town centre. Good Italian restaurant 50 yards from B&B. Overall a great place to stay. Thanks, Maggie
