Often working in the locality, I make sure now that Laurel End House is the first place I try to book and stay at. I particularly like the top floor bedroom, which is not only comfortable and spacious but has a very cosy, warm, inviting feel to it, with perfect views across the valley. In fact I find it so... Having just re-read the reviews on the Lauren End House website for this B&B I am finding it very difficult comprehending what people's expectations are of B&B accommodation. Some visitors must have extremely low standards, "Shabby but chic"? Take out the chic and leave the shabby - dirty is another word that adequately describes this run down, filthy building. And... We'd like to award Laura, of Laurel End House, the yellow jersey, for making our stay very enjoyable during the Tour de France! We particularly appreciated Laura's caring, yet discreet approach, and especially our packed breakfast for our 4:30 a.m departure to view the Tour in Skipton! Our room was spacious and provided us with a great view of the... More

We stayed at Laurel End House over the Tour de France Yorkshire Grand Depart weekend in July 2014 and couldn't have stayed in a better, more welcoming and enjoyable, relaxing place than Laurel End House! Our hosts could not have done more for us, the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean, with daily replenished coffee and tea and there... More

We stayed here for a weekend. The B&B was centrally located. The owner initially appeared friendly enough but later when we were leaving was distinctly hostile when we queried the room rate as we had forgotten how much it was She then refused to take a cheque from us, as in her words we had disputed the charge -was wasnt... I can highly recommend this splendid guesthouse, which I was able to book and stay in at short notice. Not only was it tastefully furnished and within very easy reach of the centre of Hebden Bridge, but the proprietor Laura was friendly and very helpful, able to advise on where to visit in the local area and even helped me... An impromptu trip to Hebden resulted in a last minute decision to stay over. Laura's place came recommended so we rang her at 10pm and she was friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze us in. The room was lovely and comfortable and came with everything we needed. We had a great night's sleep and a great veggie breakfast the... More

Have stayed at Laurel End House three times now. An annual pilgrimage to the fantastic but sadly no longer Hebden Bridge Blues Festival. On each occasion we stayed three nights over the bank holiday weekend. Laurel End House is a typical of the area, large, quirky victorian house. Built on a hill with two stories at the front and four... More

We found this B&B to be slightly down at heel and shabby. But our main complaint is that we booked and asked for the attic room which has it's own bathroom, and on arrival were given a room where we had to share a bathroom. Apparently we were swapped because the people in the attic room decided to stay for... More

Three of us stayed here before be set off for three days cycling on the Pennine Bridleway. We were given a warm welcome and a safe place to store our cycles. Breakfast was a lovely view overlooking the town and we were able to leave our car safely for 3 days. A great start.
