I also arrived after a long cycle (100miles) to spend a couple of days in lovely Hebden Bridge to see the Tour of Yorkshire and catch up with friends. We stayed in the attic room & although the owner,Laura was away her partner explained about the breakfast situation which was not a problem as to be honest I prefer a continental... We arrived after a long cycle ride only to be told that there would be no cooked breakfast the following morning. this was very disappointing as we had another long day of cycling ahead. Owner said he tried to contact me but no message. So we had to make our own breakfast of toast and (half used) packets of cereal... More

We were greeted on arrival by Laura and her husband who were very welcoming and extremely helpful with car parking and luggage. We had a large double room with a comfortable bed, excellent views, tea and coffee making facilities, a tv and wi-fi. The next morning we has a great full English breakfast at a time that suited us. All... More

We booked last minute and were a bit worried after reading some reviews but we had an enjoyable stay. We were made to feel welcome and the room was comfortable, we were able to take our dog which was great too. The bed was so comfy (it is soft but that's what I prefer) I had a great nights sleep... Booking Laurel End via email and communication was quick and easy, and we had a warm welcome from the owner. The Marina room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view across the edge of Hebden. The bed was a bit soft for me - but that's a matter of personal preference. We shared a bathroom with the occupants of... More

Over the last two years I have stayed at Laurel End House a few times. What matters to me is a warm and comfortable room to sleep with clean bedding, clean soft towels and a clean bathroom. I have had all of those in Laurel End House plus pleasant rural views and a hearty breakfast in the classy new conservatory... More

It's a shame the previous reviewer didn't enjoy their stay here, but myself and a friend did. We stayed there the same weekend. We enjoyed our breakfasts, our room was sufficiently warm, and we found the owner to be attentive and not intrusive. The guesthouse is reasonably priced, and we'd stay there again. I guess you can't please all of... More

This was my worst B&B experience to date. The room was freezing cold as was the middle of my stale croissant in the morning. The smell of the rooms was unbelievable including the strange bleach smell in the breakfast conservatory. There was a lack of care on so many levels. The website is highly deceptive. I would definitely not go... More

Four of us stayed here over valentines, the property itself is full of character and very lived in and homely, the views are great and the conservatory is surrounded by great scenery. Laura the host was very friendly and accommodating for our dietary needs. Its a good location and preferable and better value than nearby hotels.

We stayed here for 1 night 11/2/15 while attending a gig at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge. It is perfect for just leaving your car in the free parking space and exploring the town. The welcome was friendly and we were given the key to our room a couple of hours early. Everything was very clean and tidy and... More
