We booked last minute and were a bit worried after reading some reviews but we had an enjoyable stay. We were made to feel welcome and the room was comfortable, we were able to take our dog which was great too. The bed was so comfy (it is soft but that's what I prefer) I had a great nights sleep... Booking Laurel End via email and communication was quick and easy, and we had a warm welcome from the owner. The Marina room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view across the edge of Hebden. The bed was a bit soft for me - but that's a matter of personal preference. We shared a bathroom with the occupants of... More

Over the last two years I have stayed at Laurel End House a few times. What matters to me is a warm and comfortable room to sleep with clean bedding, clean soft towels and a clean bathroom. I have had all of those in Laurel End House plus pleasant rural views and a hearty breakfast in the classy new conservatory... More

It's a shame the previous reviewer didn't enjoy their stay here, but myself and a friend did. We stayed there the same weekend. We enjoyed our breakfasts, our room was sufficiently warm, and we found the owner to be attentive and not intrusive. The guesthouse is reasonably priced, and we'd stay there again. I guess you can't please all of... More

This was my worst B&B experience to date. The room was freezing cold as was the middle of my stale croissant in the morning. The smell of the rooms was unbelievable including the strange bleach smell in the breakfast conservatory. There was a lack of care on so many levels. The website is highly deceptive. I would definitely not go... More

Four of us stayed here over valentines, the property itself is full of character and very lived in and homely, the views are great and the conservatory is surrounded by great scenery. Laura the host was very friendly and accommodating for our dietary needs. Its a good location and preferable and better value than nearby hotels.

We stayed here for 1 night 11/2/15 while attending a gig at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge. It is perfect for just leaving your car in the free parking space and exploring the town. The welcome was friendly and we were given the key to our room a couple of hours early. Everything was very clean and tidy and... More

We had a great 2 days at the attic of Laurel End House. The owner is very friendly and nice to talk with. Very cozy atmosphere, nice food, great location close to sunny spots of greenery. A place that I would definitely recommend.

Myself and my husband booked a double room in this B and B. We booked, and paid a deposit for the room, on 21.11.14, we had received email confirmation and had even been told which room we were allocated. When we arrived yesterday, from Northumberland, for our 1 night stay the owner said she had no room available, her explanation... More

I had a great stay with my partner and two kids over New Year. The rooms where warm and the beds where comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfasts where lovely. If you are looking for a posh hotel then this BnB might not be for you, but if you are looking for a homely stay in a traditional house... More
