The Dusty Miller - well what can I say, room was freezing and when we said this to the gentleman escorting us into the room he just shrugged. Wall heater not working, small heater in the room thankfully was. We ended up putting the small hairdryer on to warm our feet etc!!. For £85.00 it was very expensive, my breakfast,... More

As the website states has had a fairly recent refurbishment. Its fair to say that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Down side is that is right next to a fairly busy road, but could cope with that, but unfortunately the sash windows although look nice are very drafty with no secondary glazing fitted. The head board to... Visited the Dusty as we were in the area on a walking weekend. The Dusty Miller is in an excellent location and has had a superb refit. However, sadly the management is lacking along with the food. This place has the potential to be brilliant and could be the best in the area, But it isn't!!

We used to stay here while we were looking for a permanent home in Hebden Bridge, the food was always excellent and the rooms clean, comfortable and good value for money. We found this by error as we had planned to stay in Hebden itself but our usual b&b's were fully booked so this was the nearest, we stayed here... More

I visited The Dusty Miller last night for my daughter's birthday meal. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I had the halloumi starter which was generous in portion and delicious. Everyone else was very pleased with their starters. For the main I had the freshly battered haddock which was delicious. Our... Unfortunately my first and last visit. On arrival, although staff was sparse due to the time of year, the reception was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately as our dining experience went on and other parties arrived, staff became non existent. Plates were not cleared in a timely fashion, some plates were not cleared at all. Although parts of the meal were... More

This was our second time staying here and I must say it seems to have taken a backward step. The staff were brilliant friendly and professional. The food was a bit of a disappointment compared to the last visit, the whole place seems to need a bit of care and attention, carpet coming away on the staircase, flooring coming away... More

Very good value accommodation. We rented two single rooms and were given very spacious and fully modernised rooms. Cannot fault the room and the service. Only issue were intoxicated couple outside on the main road having a shouting match at 01:00 a.m. not the pubs fault as it was well after closing time. should have brought earplugs with me.

I have had Sunday lunch here for the last 2 Sundays, lots of vegetables and lovely homemade Yorkshire puddings - I can't buy and cook a roast for this price at £6.95 great value for money. Generous portions
