Recently had an overnight stay in this hotel and found it to be good value for money. Rooms clean although a little on the small side. Beds very comfy. For me the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food at Prego was excellent as were the waiters. more

Ive stayed here a few times on business. This is a value for money hotel, more suitable for the business traveller than for leisure in my view. ( If you want to go to Brighouse for a leisure break perhaps you should first sit down and question your values in life! but if you still wanted to try the Holiday... more

We stayed in the deluxe double rooms only thing deluxe about this room is the jacuzzi. Wet towels we put on the floor for the maid to change were just folded and put back on the heated rail and not changed. Second day they had two functions in the hotel went to go to the bar and told by receptionist... more

Waterfront eh? Yes, technically this hotel does have water in front of it, but it's not the gently babbling brook that the website makes you imagine. They don't mention the electricity substation or the large sainsbury's either. I stayed in a 'superior' room, it wasn't superior. At all. Decent sized bed, air con, and cracking shower were all welcome, as... more

Carpark is a public one ,costs 50p per hour from 8am to 6pm. Our room was a bit of a trek,up and down stairs, through numerous doors,ok for us but would be a pain if... more

We have just returned from a two night stay. The hotel is in a good location. However, our single rooms were small or should I say cosy !!! The staff are very friendly and the breakfasts are delicious and with plenty of choice. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is excellent and again the staff are very friendly. All in... more

The weekend rate of £40 was reasonable, but the room was a bit small! The full English breakfast was excellent and the service in general was friendly! Beside an old canal this is an ideal place to discover the areas rich industrial heritage! Lots of shops - including a large Sainsbury's opposite plus traditional fish and chips shops nearby! Handy... more
