I haven't had a reason to write a review for a while but have to now. The place is very easy to find....just off M62. Greeted by a very nice and efficient reception manager who offered me a carvery dinner for £3.99! This should have rung a few alarm bells! Stayed here for £37 for the room for one night. The staff were friendly throughout but the best thing was the swimming pool & fitness centre. The restaurant is over priced but was convenient which is what we needed. It did take two phone calls to get an iron!!! Would happily stay here again more

Pretty standard Holiday Inn two minutes from M62. Rooms quiet and comfortable, nice indoor pool along with courtyard area. Top class breakfast, good value. Staff's local knowledge could be better and although they were very obliging. more
