We were met by the owners mother who spoke no English so wasn't able to give us any information whatsoever about the area or the property. The owner Cristina wasn't able to welcome us until later in the evening after she finished work. We emailed her and told her we would be in the restaurant downstairs, she asked the waitress... More

Hello Mercedes! It is so sad to see that after a year from your stay at Casachianti you still have such bad memories of your stay at my place. I have never been rude to my guests and apologize if you think I was with you, believe me I did not intend to be. I think there was a row... More

My wife and I had attempted to visit Casa chianti on numerous occasions over the course of several years and it never worked out. It seemed our expectations grew every year. We were finally able to visit Casa chianti in May of 2015 and our expectations were met. The "things every B and B ought to have" (e.g. Service, cleanliness,... More

Hello! I am so happy you finally could stay at Casachianti after many attempts and above all I am happy you really did like it! It was a pity your stay was not long enough to spend some time together and hope next time you will be here for longer time. Please, also kindly give my best regards to your... More

In few more words: Great host - competent, energetic and helpful, perfect location, very reasonable price, very good restaurant within the same building, perfect starting spot for one-day tours around Tuscany,

This place is located about 8kms from Certaldo. Its a three storey house located above a superb classical tuscan restuarant which is highly recommended to try. I was the only guest there most the time at the house. I had a large room, comfortable bed. soft low profile pillows. a nice shower and toilet (bathroom) and plenty of space. theres... More

The views from here are amazing! There is a kitchen you can use during your stay. Everything was clean and well kept. There is a restaurant downstairs which is absolutely wonderful. We ate there twice during our short stay. I recommend the steak Florentine....to be shared because it's giant.

My wife and I stayed at Cristina's place outside Certaldo in May 2011 (system did not allow me to include the correct date from the dropdown menu). Never reviewed it, but got reminded today, when a friend in America asked us to recommend a place to stay in Toscana. So, to make up for my lack of discipline, here is... More

Facility is three units above restaurant. The b&b and the restaurant are separate. Be sure to make reservations for the restaurant especially on the weekends as they are quite busy. There was no problem with noise from the restaurant. The owner is offsite and you must contact her for access. The b&b has a separate kitchen for your use that... More

A small lovely house overlooking the beautiful Tuscan rolling hills surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The sunset view is simply amazing from the terrace of an equally outstanding restaurant located on the ground floor. We stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend in early May. It was one of the best holidays we've had in very long time.... More

i've visited Casa Chianti twice now, both times for a long weekend once with my mother (May 2011) and the second time with my husband, mother and friends (Nov 2011). Both times we've had the most amazing stay. Christina is such a fantastic host and the cookery lessons with Elena are wonderful, I've made several of the recipes back at... More

Casachianti is a great place for travelers. The casa sits out in the countryside amid grape vineyards and olive vineyards. The views out of our bedroom window looked like postcards and TV ads of Tuscany. The bedroom was more than adequate in size and comfort. The full kitchen was next to our room and was available for our use 24/7.... More
