The location is great, for sure if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach. The staff was all very friendly and the rooms were clean and nice. The hot showers are always a bonus and the breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location- as are a plethora of other hotels...the beach is covered with them... We were charged for three people and one towel in the room. We shouldn't even need to ask for extra towels. The room was sparten- very Motel 6. The pool is tiny and literally next to the kitchen with people blabbing. No lounge chairs near the... More

My wallet was stolen in San Juan del sur. Afterwards my visa was charged several times in this hotel to a total amount of 3x300€... Not saying the hotel employs thieves or work together with them but they apparently don't take the time to look at the name on credit cards to verify them! Which is suspicious to say the... More

We spent a very good time at Casablanca. This hotel is very much relaxed and laid back, the staff is friendly, the rooms are quite big and have a fridge!! (perfect for preparing Nica Libra with ice) The pool at times could be overcrowded with children, but when it's empty - that's simply great The breakfast is served to guests... More

Nice clean and comfy, It is right on the main drag on the beach so you do get street noise.. But the staff is very helpful.. This is a great place for people making a visa run .. Not to expensive and right in the middle of the beach strip.. Not rel fancy but me I had no problems

This hotel is in a great location in the middle of bay, the employees are nice, always helpful with our needs, the room was clean but veeeery tiny we had no space to put our luggage, the pool was very small and the water was not clean at all, but for someone looking for something nice and basic is ok.... My entire experience changed when I found Casablaca in SJDS. FOR THE BETTER!! There are places less expensive, and those more expensive (trust me I stayed in places that ran the spectrum), but this place felt like home almost immediately. From the guys at the front desk, Jose and Roberto, who were always accommodating, to Sergio, who was always smiling... More

Came to San Juan for a night and chose to "splurge" on what looked like a nice place. But the room was tiny, the pool closed at 8pm, the AC did not work! Not worth the $75 price during the off season. As far a location there is no where in San Juan del Sur that is far from the... More

just steps from the beach, restaurants, and bars... this hotel accomodates any number of people, including 4 people to a room, each with their own bed. it has a swimming pool that is relaxing and home cooked breakfast. the air conditioner was very cold. felt great at night when trying to sleep. the waitstaff was very profession, the general visit... A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights while backpacking through Nicaragua. The hotel was fine. It was clean, had A/C, good location, and a bit overpriced for what we got. We didn't spend much time in the room as it was just a place to sleep. It did the job but nothing to rave about.
