I spoke with Peppe about 4 weeks prior to our trip to SJDS and booked a double room for 6 nights. When I sent him my deposit a few days later, he said the double room wasn't available for all of the nights anymore so we could stay in the bunk bed room on our own for a night then... More

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Planet Waves with Peppe and his super cool (and very friendly!) dog Napoli. We stayed in a private double, which was spacious, very clean, included air-con and had big ensuite shower room with hot water. We really liked the location, just on the edge of town, its a very pleasant 5min walk down the beach to... More

Very clean, relaxing atmosphere, convenient location outside of the noisy town plaza and peppe was super helpful and friendly. It feels more like a cozy home then a guest house. Thanks so much for an incredible experience in your lovely home. More

Stayed there in the dorm - 3 beds, a bit tiny. but dirt cheap @ 7.50 Saw the private rooms, they looked comfortable. The common area is nice and comfortable as well A bit of walk from town, but still close to the beach and away from the noise Pepe is very helpful, so worth the stay at least for... More

We had been to San Juan del Sur and Peppe told us to check out his place next time we were in town. So a week later we ended up at Planet Waves.... it was the first place with air con. He took us around town and helped us when we needed to find another place to stay. Napoli, the... More

I would strongly advise Planet Waves as the perfect place to stay in San Juan del Sur. After having been in the town for three days, moving around a lot in search of the perfect place to stay I was immensly relieved when I found Planet Waves. Our intended 5 day stay turned into two weeks thanks to the wonderful... More

We were a group of 5 backpackers traveling through Central America for over a month and we stumbled across Peppe's B&B. We had our fairshare of hostels and camping over our trip and were excited to get some relaxation! Peppe built his place a few years ago and it truly feels like home. From the lovely jazz music playing in... More

I stayed at Peppe's place with my girlfriend in July for 3 nights and we had a ball with Peppe: nice, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for his guests. Surfing in daytime and sipping mojitos at night: what else do you need? We'll be back soon. More

I spent 2 months in Nicaragua, most of the time in San Juan Del Sur but in a B&B and a hostel up on the hill overlooking town, decided to spend a night closer to the beach and was recommended this place by a couple who stayed the previous night and were headed elsewhere to continue their travel. Peppe (a... More
