I order duet carpaccio, Salmon and Covina fish on lime and olive oil juice. Bad combination, those fish are not to be mixte together. Is not good. Well, the plate arrived with out the salmon and later I fund a piece of metal on the corvina fish... Told them no apologized and paid the bill.

This sprawling old Victorian edifice would be right at home on some more northern cape; here in these tropical surroundings she appears almost a surrealistic dream, but one the traveler weary of the more staid and conventional concrete boxes that pass for lodging in the tropics can indulge. Whether lounging at evening with a glass of wine in hand on... More

Well maintained and functioning hotel in a most desirable beachfront location. Room was large and well appointed with a king sized bed plus comfortable rocking chair and desk. Refrigerator too. The front desk staff was competent, and anxious to accommodate. Same for the Security Director. Obviously were happy that their hotel had been selected for a visit. Next morning's breakfast... More

We booked for two nights and only stayed for one. Look I'm pretty easy to accommodate unless it's just way under par. The sheets smelled of Vic's menthol. The hot water was shut off the safe was broken, we shared a room with two varieties of ant small black and large red ones. Kids were loud and jumping in the... More

Stayed 2 nights... after a bumpy start, the staff, and especially the manager, went above and beyond service to help us settled down. Pool was covered when we arrived as they were sanding a terrace. It was put back in use that same afternoon. Traveling with a friend with health issue, manager went above and beyond to find her a... More

Historic hotel with smallish rooms but very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views, nice pool, good breakfast (ours was included in room rate) right downtown yet quiet. We walked in to town a few times daily. Also lovely courtyard for reading

My partner and I dined here during our one-day jaunt to San Juan del Sur while exploring southern Nicaragua. A lovely little vintage-style restaurant across from the bay area, we had high hopes for a memorable, romantic dinner during our last evening in Nicauragua. We splurged on the paella, which was described as their long-standing claim-to-fame. Unbeknownst to us, we... More

Great location with a beautiful view of the bay. A veranda to die for, morning breakfast sitting with an unobstructed view of the ocean. A little pricey though and would have liked the lady at the reception desk to have told us that there was an temporary outage of water. Would return

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Victoriano over New Year’s. The location is great, at the end of the bay, quiet but in walking distance to restaurants and shops. We received a room with a King size bed on the first floor, across from the sitting area at the pool. We tried to change it to another... More

You can tell that this was once a beautiful hotel, but it doesn't seem as though they are taking care of it. My husband and I splurged on the king sized room. It was fine, but definitely not worth the price. Things didn't seem very clean, dead cockroach on the floor, stains on the tile, dirt on the curtains, etc.... More
