Stayed here for 1 night. Pretty average hotel and rooms very small but in a nice area near to the beach. Breakfast was average as well. Staff were OK though and were quite helpful. Don't think I would stay in this hotel again if coming here again.

This is a simple hotel with rooms at the ground and first floor, I stayed in one of the upper ones. The room looked clean, but after walking on the tiles barefoot my feet were almost black! The bed was clean though. The air-condition, which looked like out of the 70ies, didn’t work at all but the fan did; unfortunately... More

Located a block from the beach in a beautiful garden with outdoor tables and chairs. The staff were helpful and friendly, suggesting places to go for dinner. A full breakfast is included, with extra coffee if requested.

Had one night here on a group tour. Small tidy room looking onto garden with hammock and some seating. In the middle of a street parallel to the promenade, so hany for the beach and nearby cafes and bars. Adequate breakfast. Free wifi and water.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a different hotel on desperagar.com (never use this site- horrible/nonexistent service) and was switched to this one. Despite several emails with Alvaro (the manager) confirming our room, when we arrived we were told we did not have a room there and it was not their problem! Alvaro tried to tell me he... More

Hotel is located on the main street with everything around that you need. Rooms are in the back of the building and it was very quite. Room was clean and we felt safe at all time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice garden with hammock and chairs to relax. On the other side of the road you find Casa... More

My wife and I stayed at Casa Colonial for 3 days in November 2014. The rooms we basic, but clean and secure. It has a large open air courtyard, which was nice and relatively quiet. Breakfasts were good, the staff wasn't terribly friendly, but they would help when asked. There are probably better value places, but if you're looking for... More

Good value hotel that includes a Nica style breakfast (really good scrambled eggs). Basic rooms but good A/C and clean. Lovely garden that is an oasis hidden away from the busy street. Would recommend.

We were recommended to this place by another hotel where we had previously stayed. Honestly, we weren't impressed by the customer service, they were out of soap, and there was only wifi in the lobby. The bathroom was very small but it did have hot water (at times too hot), air conditioning, and breakfast included. All in all you won't... More
