The deluxe cabins are really trailers with faux cabin exteriors. They are air-conditioned, sleep around 7 comfortably and come with almost everything you need. (You bring linens, towels, etc.) There are firepits at each cabin, and two pools are within walking distance. There is a train track about three hundred yards behind the cabins, but you cannot hear the trains... More

Pros: much cheaper tickets to the park if you buy them here. clean bathrooms. convenient shuttle which allows you to avoid the parking fees ($12/day). Cons: the freight train which sounded louder than a jet which ran about every hour all night long. Couldn't sleep in the tent. Sounded like it was barreling down upon me. Tried to sleep in... More

The campground should be 4 or 5 stars, but I just can't rate it any higher than Terrible. The bathrooms were clean, the sites nice (a little close together, but nice) and pretty level. But we were in a site on the upper loop that has a freight train RIGHT next to it - that runs ALL NIGHT! The first... More

The grounds were well kept, the staff polite and helpful on site and the grounds are convenient to Hershey Park with shuttles every half hour. There is a significant discount for park tickets in the camp store and an even greater discount for seniors which was never mentioned in any literature. The train was close and blew it's whistle but... More

My family has been coming here for over 30 years. I miss when this place was much smaller but great things must grow with changing demand. It's a bit odd with the name change and all the areas renamed for this year but I'm sure it's a tale of more nice things. I only negative I can say about this... More

We camped at here for the weekend and got one of the last spots. We were warned about the trains in advance. They weren't as bad as we thought they were going to be. Our spot bordered the fence along the train tracks. It was right across from the bathhouse, which was great. Well shaded. There is a embankment between... More

Yes - the train is loud and very active but the kids loved the cabins and the location can not be beat! Lots of activities (zoo america, dance party with characters and glow walk to name a few), nice staff and wonderful transportation to and from the park. We will definately return. We had two cabins during our stay -... More

With our family of 5 camping was the best option for our trip. We chose this location because it was close to the park, had the shuttle, and the facilities were good. The camping is essentially in a field, no privacy etc but we were expecting that. The grounds are located between a railroad and a quarry which was working... More

I would have given the campground 5 stars if the campsites weren't so close together - Other than that, the campground was perfect. It's a big campground and only 5 mins away from Hershey park. A bus comes every 20 mins or so and takes you to and from the park for free so take advantage! You get discounted Hershey... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in July. Place was packed, and since we arrived on a Thursday, the "drive thru" check in was not open. However, went inside and quickly checked in. We were in #45 up on the Midway Meadow. It would have been a tight turn to back into the spot with our 35ft trailer. However, the spot... More
