I booked two nights at this hotel late in the afternoon the day before my arrival. Everyone I spoke with over the phone was so pleasant and helpful. Sharon took my reservation and made sure everything was set up for me. It was my wife and I's fifth wedding anniversary and we were looking for a relaxing weekend away from... More

Wow, “Best Hotel I have ever stayed at” – Thank you for such high accolades! We are so pleased to hear you and your wife enjoyed your stay so well. And thank you for noticing, and mentioning, how obvious it is that our staff enjoys working here. It truly is a privilege to work in such beautiful surroundings and we... More

My husband, two young children and I stayed at the Nature Inn for one night earlier this month. We loved everything about it! We stayed in a basic room with two queen beds and a lake view. The room was bright with vaulted ceilings, the furnishings were attractive mission style and a perfect fit to the scenery. The view out... More

Visited Elk State Park and Bald Eagle State Park. We spent the night at the Nature Inn at Bald Eagle. The staff at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. The facility is just a few years old It is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated. We had a balcony which overlooked the lake.... More

Thanks for your kind words about your recent stay at The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle. Glad to hear that you made the trek to the Elk County Visitors Center in Benezette. It’s also a Bureau of State Parks facility and, like us, a LEED certified project. Guessing that the Elk were busy bugling. What a sight. As you’ve pointed... More

We booked the double room suite with another couple. The space was lovely. The kitchenette left a little to be desired as the frig was a tiny dorm room size frig, there is no stove, but there is a microwave and toaster oven and coffee maker. There are no real cooking utensils, no pitchers, pots or pans, and not even... More

We wanted to plan a quick trip that would not be too far to get away from the city and take advantage of the good weather. After reading the reviews of the inn, it seemed like this would be a great place. I called to make reservations and talked to Sharon who made me excited about going to the inn.... More

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at the Inn and we couldn't have had a more peaceful, relaxing time away. The Inn is both fascinating in its design and beautiful throughout. The facts stated all around this gorgeous 16 room inn about how "green" they are is extremely fascinating and you come to appreciate the... More

This was a birthday celebration for my husband's 80th birthday with 13 of our family members. We had rooms close to each other with very clean, comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was included which was quite ample and changed somewhat every day. The staff was so very helpful and friendly. There was a lovely patio with tables, chairs, umbrellas where we cooked... Per their FAQs and answers, there is some incorrect information given. They do not provide a "gourmet breakfast each morning" - it is strictly more like a Continental type of breakfast where you help yourself. The food is fairly good and is all you can eat. This is the ONLY meal provided by the Inn. You can purchase box lunches... More

This is a really great retreat or get-away. The Inn is not necessarily a B/B but a small 16 room 2-story hotel. Rooms vary in size and bedding. Prices vary due to porch/balcony view (wooded or lake) and the number of beds and sitting area. We chose the queen wooded view and this is the lowest price. Rooms are modern... More

We stayed here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We only live 1/2 hour away, but the Inn was a great spot to feel further away. Great breakfast and lunch, clean, Eco friendly and great rooms. Lots of hiking and fishing made for a great time away!
