We stayed here with our older teens for 3 nights. Not only is the Inn exceptional, it was so easy to rent boats for skiing, tubing and great clean water abounds. We hiked many of the trails in the park as well. Bringing a couple meals to cook on the Inn's grill was easy and the scenery at the outdoor... More

Good & Bad: Good.....stunning scenery, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, lovely lobby, cozy room, upscale bedding & furnishings, good breakfast, comfy seating, little extras like binoculars. Bad....nothing! The mountains really are breathtaking and the lake was pristine. We rented a pontoon boat at the marina and enjoyed an hour of cruising. The room was honestly the cleanest I have ever visited.... More

We were visiting for a wedding and stayed with my husband's large family. Lot's of beautiful outdoor seating, binoculars and bird books in every room. Breakfast was good as was the box lunch. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would be a great place for a retreat.

Great stay at the Nature Inn. It rained during our visit and we were afraid there would be nothing to do, but short hikes between showers and the massive covered deck provided options for us. I would recommend a bike for getting around as they have lots of roads to different trails, as well as walking options around the inn... More

If you love nature, respect our environment, and want to find a place that will transport you to a whole new level of eco-friendly lodging - you must visit this place!! I was impressed by what I read when I booked my reservation but when I actually arrived, I was BLOWN AWAY at how beautiful this location and lodging really... More

We've stayed here twice and each time it's been great. We make a long trip from Chicago to CT and NIBE is a stopping place to break to drive into more manageable chunks. The laid-back vibe and the surroundings are just the ticket after a long day of driving. The place is so quiet and peaceful yet still with a... More

We were able to get a 1 bedroom suite last-minute, and it was a great experience. The hotel was totally clean, as well as green (yay!). There are ample spots to BBQ, or just sit by a fire-pit. There aren't many options for food locally (without a significant drive), but the included breakfast was very good. Bald Eagle Park is... More

The only slight draw back is that the restaurant doesn't have a wide range of hours. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Great rooms and the views are spectacular. The surrounding areas are beautiful too.

Thank you for your positive review! Unfortunately, we do not operate a restaurant onsite, I apologize for any confusion. We do serve a full hot and hearty breakfast each morning and we offer our Box Lunch Menu for pre-orders in the morning with afternoon pickup. Our dining room is available to rent for special functions though and for those events... More

Great place. Lacks nearby great restaurants but after all it's in a state park. Great cooking facilities. Great breakfasts. We loved the peacefulness of the lake and the mounysin as well as abundant wildlife.

Thank you for your kind words, we are glad you enjoyed a restful stay. We feel the Nature Inn offers a true getaway with the serene surroundings and great view of the lake below. There are limited restaurant options just outside the park, but we are always happy to make recommendations, and even reservations, to the many restaurants just twelve... More

I stayed there one night with my two young children. This place is absolutely lovely! The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a beautiful view. If I had more time I would've been fine enjoying the view for hours.

Thank you for your wonderful review. The Nature Inn and Bald Eagle State Park are wonderful destinations for families or couples. We have a variety of different kinds of rooms to choose from and they all include our wonderful, fresh cooked breakfast each morning. During a summer visit, the park is alive with birds and other wildlife; the lake is... More
