Although the Hotel Wayne has a nice historic feel, I was extremely disappointed with our stay. The bathroom was small and cramped with no place to put things. Barely could turn around. We were given only one hand towel so we had to ask for more. No coffee pot in the room. No list of television stations or local attractions,... More

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Hotel Wayne while skiing and visiting the area. This is by far the best option in the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and have a charming historic feel that we really enjoyed. What really set them apart was the Bistro. The staff was amazing, the waitresses were prompt and polite,... Our stay at The Hotel Wayne was great! The décor is very interesting, filled with local and historic art. While admiring the paintings, the hotel manager Jim, noticed our interest and offered us a tour. The rest of the staff were equally hospitable and friendly. Our room was charming, really old fashioned, yet up to date with amenities. We ate... More

This was our second trip to the Hotel Wayne and I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had! The hotel itself has the feel of stepping back in time but the rooms are very comfortable and the Bistro is up to par with any urban restaurant. The manager Jim was extremely friendly & helpful with booking our... More

I will make myself available to take the gentleman from GA on a tour of area bars that offer a more redneck quality if that is what he desires. Perhaps you were inebriated Gerald? There is no pool table at this establishment which serves fine food in an elegant atmosphere. We are very appreciative of the current management who took... More

Visiting family in the area, needed a place to stay. Hotel Wayne seemed to fit the bill location wise and the historic nature of the place was something I found interesting. Check in was simple and before heading to the room I decided to get a drink in the refurbished bar area. Unexpected variety of beers available and the manager... More

185 year old hotel - shows a little wear but comfortable and warm. There's something authentic about the place, especially when they hand you the room key, yes a real key with a brass tag with the room number. The Bistro in the main lobby features a CIA trained chef and the food was excellent. Management was very attentive...we waited... More

If you like to shoot pool and drink a beer or get picked up, this is for you. A redneck bar for sure. Young crowd with no manners. You will here cusing and fussing. Food is o.k. if you get a burger. Don`t ask for any frills.

This review certainly was not about the Hotel Wayne. This facility is an upscale establishment with mature clientele. Our bar carries a collection of craft beer that would satisfy the most demanding connoisseur. The food is prepared by a CIA graduate chef and is the finest cuisine in the area. A redneck bar it is not. This review is an... More

Stopped for a quick bite and beer. First visit so didn't know what to expect. Ate at bar. Nice variety of tasty food from fancy to basics. All were very good. Would recommend if you are passing through or are local.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in August and had a very nice time. True, the Hotel could use updating without sacrificing it's charm factor. The location is good for getting onto major roads or for just hanging around in town. It is across from a little park-like area with a stream where we put our 2... More
