Wonderfully restored 200 year old home of a colonial judge. The owners, Warren and Janet, were the most pleasant and interesting people to meet and chat with. The level of detail in the amenities is incredible. The food was innovative, all home made and absolutely delicious. The innkeepers were very accommodating to any allergies or particular food needs of their... More

This is an excellent BnB! Janet and Warren are so nice and genuine and really enjoy working with people and making their guests happy. The house is beautiful and cozy. By far the best BnB we have ever stayed in. We were looking for a quiet place to getaway and celebrate our first wedding anniversary and could not have picked... More

We just returned from a little getaway to the James Manning B&B. Cozy, clean, quiet and comfy!! The house is amazing, full of old-world charm and beauty. Warren and Janet are great - so kind and relaxed, easy to talk to and hospitable. Our room was clean and cozy, just what we needed. The breakfast was huge and delicious -... More

This is the best B and B we have ever stayed at. The owners Warren and Janet, were lovely and very welcoming. They were friendly and offered us great advice on places to eat and on local attractions. We let them know when we booked that I was allergic to gluten. Was very impressed to be offered delicious home baked... More

We have stayed in many, many B&B's and the James Manning house ranks right up there at the top. We spent last weekend with Janet and Warren and couldn't have been more pleased or well taken care of. My husband and I along with his sister and her husband booked here as we had to be in the area for... More

We chose this B&B because of the Tripadvisor rating. To say we were more than satisfied is an understatement. Upon arrival we were greeted by Warren and Janet, our hosts. We were welcomed with the smell of fresh baked cookies for our arrival. Our room was more than expected. It was large, had a fireplace, a private bath and many... More

My sister-in-law and I spent this past Saturday night at this lovely B&B. We found the hosts, Janet and Warren, warm and very accommodating. The almost 200 year old Federal home is beautifully maintained and furnished with antiques and old Americana decor. We shared the Wayne room which has a large double bed and a day bed which was great... More

This is a great B&B. Warren and Janet are wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful and accommodating. We rode our motorcycles there and they were very hospitable and moved things out of their garage so that we could park the bikes inside. The breakfasts we had were very good, thoughtfully prepared and adjusted to the guest's food allergies/preferences. Wonderful common areas on... More

I can't praise this find enough. Janet and Warren are lovely people who take an interest in their guests treating them more like family. They make suggestions for you of where to visit and eat, offered the use of chairs if we needed them for the drive in, spent time finding about us and sharing experiences. This of course goes... This B&B was a wonderful find--- the beautiful grounds and gardens were the perfect place to unwind after a day of travel. Tastefully decorated rooms are exceptionally clean. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and food had good presentation. Hosts Janet & Warren are warm and focused on making your stay memorable. Will definitely be back again! Dawn, Baltimore MD
