I had to go to Honesdale for work for a few days & I stayed at the E. Kellogg House and loved it! The whole house is cozy, but sophisticated; nicely decorated, but not overdone. Kathy is fun, but not one of those overbearing innkeepers, and her cooking was great - each morning I had my choice of several items for breakfast - she used fresh local ingredients when she could (the bread and the cheese especially were good).

The house is right across the street from a nice little park to walk through, and there was still fall color when I was there. I'll definitely stay there again when I go back to Honesdale for work. more
