My fiance and I needed to get away from New York City and our stressful jobs on Wall Street and in the fashion industry. Friends of ours who are on Broadway recommended it to us, as Barley Sheaf Farm has hosted a fundraiser for Broadway Cares and events featuring James Earl Jones, Bebe Neuwirth and Tyne Daly. We came to... More

My husband & I have been lucky enough to stay at this Inn a few times. We have a relative near there that is ill, so we have had to return quite often. Each visit is better than the last. All visits have been in winter, & it was still a great place to be. We look forward to returning... More

Realizing that we traveled during a time of year that is not the prettiest, we still could get a feel for what is offered at this B&B. We were not really impressed. We may be a little influenced by the fact the price per night was more expensive than a stay we had last summer at a castle in Ireland,... More

I wanted to like this hotel, but it is quite disappointing. For a property that is positioning itself as high end (and charging upwards of $400-500 a night for a suite in a relatively rural area), they should really bring this place out of the seventies. We stayed here on two occasions in the past year, both times in suites... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your comments. In fact, the barn dates back over 200 years. Many of our guests appreciate the history of the building and it is for that reason that we preserve many original features, such as exposed barn beams, barn wood cabinets and wide plank wood flooring. We are delighted that you enjoyed your... More

We live locally but went for Sunday Brunch. What a beautiful property and location to enjoy a wonderful Sunday Country Brunch. Food was great (French Toast, Pancakes, Eggs Benedict ) , plenty of coffee, mimosa, fresh squeezed juices Service was very attentive without being too much and we were not rushed at all; stayed for 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed... My wife and i spent a night in The Inn and had a wonderful night. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was excellent and peaceful. The grounds were a great setting for a romantic get away. Brunch on Sunday morning was great. We hope to see every suite the have to offer over the upcoming years.

I don't normally write reviews, but this place is beautiful. From the moment you drive up the tree lined drive you know you've arrived someplace special. The suites are all uniquely beautiful and the staff is wonderful.

We stayed at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. This was our second visit, and we plan to return again in the future. The Inn is romantic, peaceful, and charming. Breakfast is the best in the area. Each room on the estate, no matter where you stay (the barn, main building, or cottage) is uniquely... More

Wonderful experience! We've tried several times to book a reservation at Barley Sheaf, but they were always booked every time we were able to get away. Finally, we were successful and had a great one night stay. Our room was stunning, the common areas were beautiful and steeped in history, the separate tables in the dining area offered privacy, and... More
