My family and I started skiing here years ago and the resort has just gotten better in the last year. We learned to ski here so it holds an especially special place in our hearts! My teen sister can bring friends up here and feel safe and have a blast with the easier slopes. We have brought many people here... More

This is primarily a place to ski and it does that well. Everyone associated with the skiing end of the business seemed professional and worked smoothly. But that's where it ends What looked on the web like a lovely hotel suite turned out to be a cramped, low-end motel room at a high price. The beds were uncomfortable and we... More

We decided to stay here as part of the Idlewild Package. Nice little resort. Met basic needs, definitely no frills. Little things could make this resort first rate. The lodge was nice. We stayed in 114. Again very basic. Check in was OK. Wish the activity center was open 8-8 instead of 10-6. My son really wanted to fish in... More

Had the pleasure of staying here and going here for a friend's wedding reception. The lodging was excellent. Room 217 was very spacious for a normal double occupancy room and was clean and comfortable. I understand that the 100 level rooms were smaller in size. Lodging staff was very helpful and friendly. The reception was held at the main ski... More

last minute decision to stay one night at Hidden Valley and golf in the AM. Stayed in the lodges. While the room was spacious and clean, it is showing its age. The lodge rooms are quite dated, the bathroom very basic, no frills is the best way to describe the rooms. Check in process was quick, but reception was less... More

My daughter and I stayed in room 225 the first time and requested it a second time, 2 weeks later. Very clean. New TV, working fireplace. Nice bed. Lots of space. Close parking. No problems. Walked to ski area along the back roads, next to the lakes. Brought our own breakfast items, so we didn't eat in the lodge.

We stayed in a lodge room during recent visit to Hidden Valley for the weekend of March 9th. We visit the lodge 1-2 times each season so we know what to expect. The rooms are spacious, but "basic". Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate for family ski weekends with children. Middle rooms have (2) double beds. End units have (2)... More
