We had a wonderful view of the valley. The room was comfy, clean, and we enjoyed our stay. We dined at Top of the 80's. Excellent service, very good food. Loved the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Fabulous view of the valley. more

This is a standard issue Hampton Inn (though most new builds in larger markets are now Hampton Inn & Suites) with a few small negatives: The Wi-Fi (complimentary) is slow, slow, slow. There's no guest laundry facilities, as at most Hampton Inns. The TVs are older models with no HDTV, though there's a decent selection of cable channels. The physical... more

This was a very typical Hampton Inn literally just off I-81. The room was generally unremarkable, but did have a nice desk layout and good internet access. The room faced the valley and had an incredible view! I'm guessing that I wouldn't have had the same positive opinion if my room had been on the other side of the hotel... more

My boyfriend and I couldn't keep driving any longer (North Carolina to Ontario) and our GPS found this hotel. It's just off the highway, easy to get to with a gas station nearby, and we walked in at 9pm to check vacancy. The desk clerk was very friendly and even upgraded our room when we showed him the price at... more

I'll make this short and sweet... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our experience was bad enough that we changed all the Hampton reservations for the rest of our trip to Marriott brand properties. At first glance, seemed like usual Hampton, until we went into the bathroom and found the permanently stained bathtub with dark stripe down the... more

They did a very nice job of redoing the rooms. I loved my room. View was great. The deck off the breakfast area is beautiful. The staff was great. They gave me the lowdown on where to go for fun on a week night in Hazleton PA. I was biker night down the road at some restaurant. So, great tip,... more

We stayed here for two nights in mid-July. We found the room to be immaculate and when we opened the drapes- Wow! A postcard- type view of the valley and mountains. It was beautiful. The breakfast selection (free) was very filling and the attendants were very quick to refill anything that was low. The desk staff was also very hospitable... more

This hotel is still one of my favorite hotels in the entire country. It has a FANTASTIC view, convenient location and a great restaurant. The entire place is well decorated in the lobby and in each room. The rooms are comfortable and many have a great view of the valley. I was disappointed with the cleanliness during this latest stay.... more

I recently stayed at the Hazleton Hampton Inn after reading various reviews on the area. The hotel is located right off of Rt. 81 so it was very convenient to the highway. I booked a Valleyview room and wasn't aware that the hotel is in a fog area. So all I could see out my window was white from the... more

Stayed here during a trip to my 25th reunion...in one word, RELAXING...clean, beautiful, and highly recommended! I might add, the "hotel class" trip advisor isn't right. This hotel class is 3 or 4... As a comparison, I stayed in Secaucus at a Crown Plaza and I can say leaving the highly rated Crown Plaza, and going to this Hampton is... more
