This place has no soul – while pretending to be a meditative and spiritual destination - you are welcomed with chakra crystal bells. The rooms are a step above Holiday Inn! The treatments were mediocre, I tried few massage therapists and they all had the exact same movements – I guess they had one training teacher …. The food was... more

I just returned from a three night stay at The Lodge at Woodloch. What an amazing experience! The lodge is very rustic and charming....very understated in a comfortable way. During my stay there was an equal mix of singles, couples, and girlfriends traveling together. If you are looking for an ultra luxe spa destination this may not be for you,... more

Sorry to say after spending a fortune I was truly disappointed, I went their in mid summer, biting bugs all over (mosquito's, gnats), a few ants, someone on the walk trail even got a tick. Staff is very friendly and try to accomodate, food was so so, rooms do not look like anything in ads, too small... Worst part was my... more

THE BEST, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPA RESORT WE HAVE BEEN TO. This was one of the best vacation I have ever had with my husband. We have been to many spas around the world and this by far was the best. When I got there I could not believe some of the negative reviews I had read before I left... more

The service was definitely wonderful in all aspects and the spa treatments were mostly good. However, I kept finding myself comparing how this or that wasn't as good as the other spa I've stayed at twice before. I loved the services, food, atmosphere, and staff at my old spa, but I thought I'd splurge and try something really upscale in... more

I just returned from a glorious weekend at this wonderful destination spa. This is their 2nd year in business, and it seems that most of the bugs of a new business of this nature have been worked out. The lodge is nestled amongst the trees, and has 58 guest rooms. It is very spacious, and has a very calm and... more

My mom and I just returned from 5 fabulous days at the Lodge. We loved EVERY minute of it. Breakfast and lunch were great, dinner was OUTSTANDING. The breakfast and lunch menus are very limited; however, the b/l buffet changes daily. The dinner menu is not to be believed - far exceed our high expectations. Initially the service took us... more

I was a “boyfriend on the side” who was pretty skeptical of going to a resort spa, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a great place to go. First, I was worried about having to eat “health food” the whole time so I was shocked that their food tasted so good and there was plenty of it. Second,... more

After our first visit to Woodloch in September '07 (after which I declared it as "setting a new standard for destination spas,"), my wife and I returned six months later to find everything . . . just as we'd left it. The place was still immaculate, comfortable and quiet. The food and service were still of the highest order. We... more

The Lodge at Woodloch was fabulous! Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Wonderful spa services. Lots of classes each day with individual attention. There is a hoola hop class which was so much fun! Food is delicious with emphasis on portion size using fresh and organic produce. You can do as much as you want or as little. Quiet places for reading... more
