Was brought here by friends 2 weeks ago. Nice atmoshere. Since it's described as a steak house I expect a better quality steak. Since it was priced like Morton's / Peter Lugers, I expected even more. Unfortunately, the meals came up very short. Would have enjoyed Outback more.

Cesar - so cold crisp and garlicky - in a good way Cream of Carrot dill soup of the day was delicious. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. Ribeye steak was cooked as ordered and while not as thick as I like it, certainly fine and good. Only Complaints - a little dark and lumpy chair springs. Menu didn't include... More

We had our wedding reception and dinner at Falls Port. Steve, Mary and John are awesome. We and our guest had the absolute best time. The owners and staff paid great attention to detail and made sure everything was perfect. If you want a factory wedding reception go to Settlers Inn, if you can even get them to return a... More

I'm from Tampa and was visiting a friend for a few days of fishing on Lake Wallenpaupak. At my friend's suggestion we planned on going to the Falls Point Inn one nite for dinner. We went Friday nite and had such a wonderful time and great meal that we went back Saturday nite as well. Actions speak louder than words... More

With summer around the corner, Hawley is a perfect place for a relax weekend. I was at the Falls Port Inn and Restaurant with a recommendation from a friend. My first impression is coziness. The restaurant and the room has a classic 1900 feel to it. At the bar, I met the owner, Steve. He is a very talkative and... More

Mary and Steve the owners make you feel at home and the waitstaff is friendly and welcoming. The fireplace is cozy and the place is lovingly restored. It really feels like getting out on the town and the food is top notch. Perfect for a special occasion, we always dress up, but it isn't necessary. The Poconos is a relaxed... More

Went to falls port had reservations for a large party booked way in advance. When we got there the "limited" menu was literally limited! They were out of 20oz steaks so had to order 40oz steaks, not to mention the "40oz" steaks were really 20oz steaks. My husband and I ordered a 40 oz to share and it was barely... More

Hawley, PA is a wonderful little town in the Pocono Mountains. The Falls Port Inn has been beautifully resored and a wonderful place to stay. The people who run the place are very hospitable and almost bend over backwards to make your stay a wondeful one. You can walk to almost any place in Hawley from the Falls Port if... More

I have been coming to Lake Wallenoaupack my entire life but we rarely go out to eat. So, this is the first time we went here. The ambiance is wonderful, beautiful old building, fireplace in the center of the room, jazz playing in the background , very friendly wait staff, nice selection of wine and beer, nice bar area. But,... More

A pitstop tour of the Poconos fortunately allowed me to discover this unique and welcoming boutique hotel, a must for anyone in need of great food, the gracious company of the owners and staff together with a relaxing and peaceful night's sleep. This is not a place for people who appear to seek out and be content with bland, anodyne... More
