We cannot say enough wonderful things.. The rooms are huge and clean ..the bathroom and shower big and wonderful.. The breakfast big assortment and the staff were so nice.. Our car broke down as soon as we entered the parking lot and Diane was kind enough to give us the phone number of the garage she uses ..when we mentioned... More

Hi Steph, Diane was so glad she could be of any assistance to get your car fixed so that visiting day was a success! Skip was happy to hear that the car was fixed too. Glad you liked the large rooms and the room you stayed in has one of our larger bathrooms too. Thank you for allowing us to... More

When you walk in, you realize how BIG room is; 2 Queen beds, 2 night stands, small table (Eat-in kitchen or pub style. Just not pub height). Also, overstuffed chair with built-in magazine rack and small top. Small, dorm sized frig (With freezer!) and average sized microwave. Bureau with mirror and chest of drawers. Both were definitely on larger size... More

A lovely, unique, gem of a place! Quiet and comfortable, I love walking to the lake, sitting on the dike or walking the trail - all right across the street. Great bagels for breakfast, chairs to sit outside and nice restaurants within easy driving distance. I stay here whenever I can on the way to visiting family in MA. I... More

The room we stayed in was clean & spacious. Though the room specified a queen size bed, we're not really sure that it is. It seems a little smaller than a queen. It's located right across the the street from Lake Wallenpaupack which makes it very convenient. If we were going to come back to the area, we'd stay here... More

We stayed at East Shore Lodging the weekend of October 3rd. We were very pleased with our accommodations and the fact that we had a boat slip right across the street from the motel. The room was perfect, large and cozy. Breakfast in the morning. Coffee, tea, orange juice, bagels, coffee cake hit the spot. Cute gift shop. The management... More

This little Motel is adorable. Location was perfect. Just cross the street and you are at the lake. There is a trail you can hike right there which we did before breakfast one morning. The Motel is very Clean. The Staff were all very nice. Anything we asked for (directions, recommendations, extra towels) was never a problem. They went above... More

My family and I stayed in four separate rooms at East Shore Lodging August 2014 for a wedding. We were a bit nervous about it being a motel, but when we arrived, we couldn't be more pleased. The rooms were full of cabin/country character, very clean, nicely decorated, and they were HUGE! The owners were pleasant and extremely accomodating. There... More

We needed a last minute place to stay at Lake Wallenpaupack. East Shore Lodging is right across the street from the lake, and could not be more convenient. They agreed to waive the 2-night summer weekend minimum for us, since they had a room open. The room was HUGE, with a separate living area, and had a private deck area... More

My husband and I recently spent three nights at East Shore Lodging in Hawley. The owners and staff make this place pleasant and bright, even if it was rainy much of the time we were there! We had room #11, the king suite on the second story. It was HUGE, with a large mini fridge, microwave, large sofa, chair with... More
